Got an idea - and no comments from the peanut gallery - you could go to CVS, Walgreens, Ritz Photos and have them take one of those passport photos while your vaping, then also have them email you a copy . . . just a thought

Hi proudlion - Nope, no relation. I do, though, think you all may find it interesting that I work for the National Academy of Sciences in D.C., and e-cigs definitely have their attention. Don't be off-put by that article put out a couple of months ago about the potential dangers of third-hand smoke (nicotine and other chems left on walls, ceilings, etc.). The academies is the number one advisers to our federal gov concerning all science/medical/engineering research. I work as a Systems Analyst, researching the costs/benefits of new, more 'green' technology. However, my father as well as several friends work directly with research that could be potentially pertinent to the benefits of vaping. It's unequivocally accepted these devices are far safer than the 3000+ dangerous and carcinogenic chemicals in analogs. We just need a well-funded (not from private industry or orgs w/ hidden agendas) study that demonstrates the extraordinary benefit PVs could give the public. The academies does not care at all what the FDA, Big Pharma or Big Tobacco have to say about vaping. Wiki National Academies (aka NAS; Natioanl Academies of Sciences; National Academy of Science; or known by their separate departments). The Academies will probably provide the most convincing and thorough research that our Federal Gov will use to make decisions as they relate to the laws and the industry in whole. -JP

Another great shot. I can't understand why you couldn't post it, though. Then again, there's a lot about computers and the Internet I don't understand.

I love the lighting and the color of cobalt blue it made your sweater. But, you know, I think I still like that first sepia shot best of all.

the infinity symbol means it is not recognizeing that there is a battery screwed in... sometimes it will move from the infinity symbol to the charging bars... to know it is charging the bars will toggle and the volt battery LED will always be lit.

Hey guys, first of all, LOVE the SI Volt. I've gone several days w/o analogs and that hasn't happened for years. Couple of questions about the PCC, though, and I was hoping someone knowledgeable could lead me in the right direction. The PCC came w/o directions (accidental ommision), but I watched/read plenty about it so I thought had a good understanding of how it works. The problem is knowing when it's actually charging the battery. I push and hold the button for 2-5 seconds, and it does indeed blink just as mentioned, but sometimes it blinks and shows two full bars solid with a third blinking (presumably meaning it's 2/3rds charged and just needs a little more to fully charge it.
But...here's where I'm confused. Sometimes I push and hold the button and instead of blinking bars on the right side of the display, I get a blinging infinity symbol (you know, a sideways 8). What is that about? Does that mean it's already fully charged? If so, why would it do that when I put a half empty battery on the unit? Also, I notice that only sometimes the battery that's being charged will light-up the LED at the end of the batt; which to me means it's actively charging; but other times, the LED is not lit at all while it's on the charger and the batt is surely mostly empty. What's going on with this? How do I know when/if these batts are being fully charged?
I know. . . too many questions to ask at once. I'm a noob at forum posting. TIA for anyone with input. Greatly appreciate it.

Thats one of those flavors I have been apprehensive about trying myself - might have to do so if people like it that much.

Do you mind me asking though, what does it taste like if you had to describe it? Like a certain brand jelly beans or ice cream or...? With so many varieties of the Vanilla taste out there, and it generally being used as a complimentary flavor, I don't know what to expect really and that has been my biggest deterrent.

I'll give you my feedback, though vanilla isn't my favorite flavor. I like it OK. It's right there in the middle, not a best and not a worst. I'd say it tastes vanilla with a little sweetness, maybe like vanilla ice cream or a candy of some sort. The flavor is very mild, subtle, I guess you'd say. It's not an overpowering taste, and I think I taste more vanilla flavor in the aftertaste than the actual vape. I find this true of a lot of the more subtle flavors, like watermelon. I hope this helps you decide whether to try it.

Same here.... I like SI's vanilla but it's not my fave. To me it's like the vanilla been it's self with the sweetness after vaping it. My wife loves it. I just ordered a bottle of 6mg vanilla for her

Or do what I did and eliminate the fresh casual clothes and hair and makeup. I don't even own any makeup. The closest is Chap Stick. I figure I'm not going to look glamorous anyway, so I put my horse in the picture to distract everyone.

Absolutely! That is the only reason I've not purchased eLiquid from SI - When I began vaping 4/1/2010 I was nothing but menthol - then someone sent me a sample of Cinnamon Red Hots - I've not been "the same" since.

Definitely a Cinnamon option would enhance SI's ability to become my "one stop shopping" site.

Wow, another rich, vibrant, non-wimpy Volt color!

I just got my purple batt today and all I can say is...wow!
Thinking it might be washed out, subdued and boring looking, I was having second thoughts when I hit the confirm order button, but I'm glad I knew better. Crazy-rich, super-intense shade of purple! Volts definitely come in the raddest colors of anybody else out there! And I got this when it was still marked down, and with my 10% off, SI got robbed!

I see what you mean about the purple LED though. Yeah, that part's kinda wimpy, and it doesn't really match the battery...but I'm still glad it isn't white! All my other batts have white LEDs, and I kinda wish they didn't.

I love opening up my case and staring at my batts! So pretty!
