One movie I can NEVER watch again is Dreamcatcher - no matter how fine Thomas Jane is!
Not that I'm into horror - zombies are about all I can handle (Resident Evil). I'm a wimp. Exorcist and The Omen ruined scary movies for me. I'm scarred for life, and afraid of the dark even to this day.

I don’t really have time to give a full review just now, but I just got my Volt today and I’m really excited. The first battery lasted 4.5 hours and was good to the last puff!! That’s what I’ve been looking for! I’ll Post more later..

Hello and welcome! Glad you're enjoying your Volt - there's a lot to like!

Happy Friday, Everyone! :)

Sorry I missed last night's party. It looks like you guys had a blast! :D

I don't have any plans for this weekend, except for maybe watching spooky movies and getting some writing done. No slasher films for me. I'm more into the paranormal and psychological suspense. Here are some of my favorites:

  • Ghost Story
  • The Shining
  • What Lies Beneath
  • Stir of Echoes
  • Flatliners
  • Mirrors
  • The Orphanage
  • 1408

And for scary Sci-Fi: Aliens

What are your favorite Halloween movies?

I saw a great Danish vampire movie last night on Netflix called "Let the Right One In" - believe it or not it's about a 12-year old vampire. One of the best and most unique vampire movies I've ever seen.

I am a chicken - I do NOT like to be scared.

Me either - but I do like movies that suck you in - psychological stuff. Mr. Frost with Jeff Goldblum (yeah, I know, but trust me) is probably one of the scariest movies I've ever seen. Se7en is another, and so is The Sixth sense. Best for suspense - Bram Stoker's Dracula. Who would think Gary Oldman could be so hot? :D

Okay, how can you mention Tarantino and not mention his best movie; True Romance!

I mean sure, he merely wrote the screenplay and Tony Scott technically directed it; but!!!

The Walken/Hopper ("eggplant/cantaloupe") scene alone is the single best thing he has ever done in my opinion... And talk about a cast - Slater, Arquette, Oldman, Kilmer, Sizemore, Penn, Gandolfini - its even got Balci! Unbelievable cast for a fantastic movie.

Plus, Brad Pitt as "Floyd" just cant be beat.
Ummmm, yeah, that's in my top 5 all time faves. You know the honey bear thing? done that. We named one of the cats Floyd. Technically it's Pink Floyd, but we just call him "all I got is ***kin' Floyd"!

Gary Oldman is incredible in that role

also Angel Heart is a creepfest

also if you like dark, dark thrillers I highly recommend 'the Machinist' with Christian Bale
