YAY! Meddog is back!

Sure didn't get much done today, but I did get that derned stool reupholstered. It was just such a gorgeous day that I sat on the back deck and contemplated. I also took a few pics because the late afternoon light was so dramatic although that doesn't really show up in the pictures. Doesn't seem too off topic to share right now.
I love this place!

Camping trip was nice....not too cold at night...campfire was AWESOME! Kids played and played got dirty dirty and I love it! Good for them!

Glad you had a good time Laura. Camping in the fall is great when the air is so crisp, but the campfire feels warm and homey. I especially love the center photo with the "up shot" of the tree. Nice!

My parents are both deceased but long ago lived in Franklin and I spent a while in the French Lick/Paoli area but had no idea Indiana could be so amazing in the Autumn

Aww - you're welcome to it Proudlion! The colors here are just about done. It was much brighter a week ago but we had a long windstorm that blew most of the colors away. So much of Indiana is consumed by corn fields and soy bean fields, but there are a few areas that haven't fallen victim to the plow.

Watched another creepy movie with Dave tonite: The Lovely Bones A very odd movie. No gore, in fact, it's quite beautiful in some places and trippy in others. The villain was the essence of "creepy".

Our pine trees don't do that. Down here we believe that show is a myth that people north of Dallas use to get out of having to go to work. I can't imagine snow like that for days on end. Then again, most of you can't imagine boarding up the windows every time there's a storm in the gulf, right Uncle....
