Yay thx imagine for a.n.o.t.h.e.r. GREAT sale!!! I wasnt going to but i wanted more "older" auto's before they left the building.
Now for the info i missed. At first the case looked very much like a nintendo case to me. My feeling were mixed,my problem with what i carry around now is that 1. I carry batts n carto's in one pouch and juice in another. 2. If a battery goes flat it gets put in the pouch upside down so at a glance i know how many "charged ones i have left.
3. Trying to get a carto out in my current set up is ridiculous but thats just my fussyness. So i've moved them with the juice and im running out of room.

these are my thoughts on what would function for me.
Batts would have slot sleeves like shown so they dont move around in the case( like the ego case)
Maybe having a coloured marker dot at one end of the battery entry on the foam ( so if a batt is flat) we can tell the difference. Really depends on how many batteries will go in the case for this to work)
Case mesh has worked well in most cases but more often than not overtime it loses it elasticity and carto's still end up all over the place. Maybe zippered see through mesh.? If its to fit bottles at lease allow for 5ml bottles. 3ml's just dont last the whole day. (YMMV) Or i guess if it will fit a few 3ml that wouldnt be a problem.
Hmmm i no way am i saying what shoukd ir shouldn'nt be / these are just my thoughts.
The newer pic with the purple near the pic batt is a really nice colour. Chrome coloured batts sure would be the bling of blings.
Morning . :)

My volt almost got me fired today!
So after a 14hr day I get back to the station. I notice the 2 head honchos from both depts are still in the building. First thought is something's going on around here. I finish up some reports & get ready to leave & they stop me saying they need to see me for a minute. Im thinking oh crap , what have I done?

They close the door behind me & ask if there is anything going on in my personal life that's going on thats out of the norm. I say no. What's going on?

They proceed to tell me someone witnessed me in my car fumbling with paper & smoking a crack on duty. I started laughing almost. I was nervous as hell thinking the whole time what could I have done? I had my Maxpedition pack in my hand loaded with all my volts. I opened it up & showed it to them. I was like I bet this is what they saw. Gave them a little demo with my green led volt & after a call or 2 all was good.

However I do have a good idea who it was that called so I hope they are on there very very best behavior or driving could become very expensive lol. I can't stand a busy body.

Ahhhh. Good idea! I like the "no power tools" part too, and the fact that what you're using to take it off is edible! Genius!
Never tried it on Volt cartos but I've used cornstarch on a brand I used to buy. Just made a ball out of the glue and took the sticky out of it so it would roll off. Finished with a quick alcohol wipe. I'll have to try it on one of these.
Edit: I realize that may sound gross. I didn't mean eating the glue and corn starch balls... Just that corn st... Eh you know what I mean.

I think its a testament to SI for how long these carto labels stay on strong. Albeit a little uplifting of the corners. Im a bad bitter, have teeth marks all over my carto's but have trouble getting the labels off so i gave up even trying anymore. Although i can see the appeal of having a skined or naked carto!!! To cover it with a .... Ahem... DM's USA skin hehehe
Now i know i have missed posts..... Going to find them!

A few of my cartos are skinned to match the batts, but this sorta creates a problem for me. A carto eventually reaches a point where it's done its job well ... and is no longer meeting that level of performance ... and it just needs to die with dignity. I have a great deal of trouble pitching cartos that I've skinned. So - I clean them - over and over until they're just blech. I'm done with carto skins. Now, I can tell what's in my cartos by Brother P-Touch labels, and at a glance, by different color drip tips. The labels also help keep the carto stickers from curling up on the bottom corners. It's a system that's working well for me.

Love it when people jump to conclusions and rat you out with false/damaging information. Glad you still have your job and your good standing with the honchos.

Honestly I doubt they truly believed it. However they have to investigate when they get a report. The more I think about it tge more it really irritates me. I just wonder why tge person that reported it just didn't ask me what I was doing. The approach they took could have caused a burden on my wife & 3 daughters, now that I have a realllly good idea who it was.

Oh yeaaaaaaah... That' right. You have that nice collection of volts, beautifully wrapped cartos and matching drip tips. I'm so J.
I wanna P-Touch!

Karma comes to bite you in the a** every time. You know what his reputation is gonna be now, right? Hey, what do you think of the lime green batts? :)

Again, very helpful. Some people wanted cartos of different colors, and I thought skins would give them what they want. And then Cindy mentioned that she had removed the wrap from some cartos, but there were some problems, and I thought covering those with skins might solve those problems.
I have been playing with different kinds of vinyl, and it has been a lot cheaper than buying skins, but finding interesting, pretty ones with the right kind of adhesive has been a PITA. Plus, cutting them down to size is very tedious work, even with the right equipment (I have a graphic arts studio). Nice thing about skins is that they would be a lot of fun to look at, I would vape even more proudly (to show them off), and with the right type of adhesive and thickness (non-issue if you don't have a PCC), they may even be able to just go directly over the existing cover - then, no peeling would be necessary. But yeah, it would be painful to throw them away...unless there was quick and easy access to more skins (that are affordably priced)! And yes, as broke as I am, I am vain enough to not want to be seen with ratty cartos! :)
