Hi all
Before I bought my volt, I was watching a video on how to refill the cartos. It should the plastic end piece, and a second plastic piece inside the carto. Did SI stop using the inner piece when they went with the soft tip? The reason I ask, is sometimes I get a little juice in my mouth when I vape. Has anyone else experienced this problem?

yes we have removed them.... the new end caps do what those rings used to do... sometimes juice in the mouth is just inevitable when you refill :(

I wondered about the same thing when I first got my Volt, but after reading most of this thread (took me weeks!), I found out that they were indeed discontinued when the new soft tips were introduced. The new tips are supposed to be designed in a way that prevents the problem you're experiencing.

You're not missing much with those secondary o-rings - I always kept losing them and just ended up with the hard cap anyway. The juice-in-the-mouth thing only happens to me when I overfill and don't blow out, or when I'm chain vaping non-stop like a maniac. Might be a queue to slow it down a bit...I also have much better results when I fill the night before and let them sit. Tastes better too!

I have a confession to make. I tried another well known 808 vendors cartos this week. I put them on my Volt batteries and they work, but they're not as good as the SI carts. The vapor and the flavor isn't as good as SI's. Luckily, I only bought two packs of cartos from the other guys-Vanilla and Peppermint. I'll stick with SI vanilla and Mint-much better flavor and vapor production.
I did place a sale order with SI on Friday too and got it yesterday. I now have a Sky Blue battery again! Still haven't found the one I lost, but at least I can stop looking for it.

Yep, the Volt cartos are so much better, IMO. The Boges I tried were too "airy" like an analog with a hole in it. I love the Volt cartos nice tight draw! Now we need some "extra long " cartos. (puhleeeeeeeezzz???)

This use to happen to me a lot, my first thought would be one of two things.
First would be to make sure that your not tipping it up while using it. At first I was so paranoid about liquid getting in the battery that I always kept them tilted and the liquid would run back into my mouth.

The second would be to how how you draw on them. It should be a long slow draw, slower then you draw on a cigarette.
Hope this helps.

If you have any e2's (Clearo's or the metal ones) you can remove the mouthpiece of the carto and put the donut from a e2 over the filler. Replace the mouthpiece. I have found that my Volt looks extra smexy if I take out the silicone mouthriece and replace it with a nice arcryllic drip tip that matches the color of my beautiful volts (red and black). You can still keep the PCC full, just pull the mouthpiece when changeing carto's and put it into the one that is used up, pop the drip tip into the fresh one and happily vape away!

Ok.. Appreciate all the great tips. What's an e2? Is it a different brand name? I only have the SI products, which I am extremely happy. Does SI offer the inner donuts?

Tchara- an e2 clearomizer is like a see through carto except it has wicking strings instead of fluff. No SI dont have these, i tried them once, pain in the .... they were. Eh just not for me, proberly wont be cost effective to buy them just for the little pieces u need. Hopefully someone can chime in an offer another solution.

Good Monday morning, everyone! waving smiley-1.gif I find myself busier than I want to be lately. Could it be the approaching holidays? Or too much vape mail stalking?
