No questionnaire ahead of time. Judge gave a very brief description of the case and that from her experience it may last around 10 days. She then listened to our reasons for possibly not being able to serve and took notes but didn't excuse anyone yet. She had us take the questionnaire back out to the waiting room to complete then could leave, but have to return on Monday. So I guess after those are reviewed some may be excused right away and others will be interviewed before deciding.
The questionnaire was 9 pages and you answer free-form. Lots of questions, page after page about whether you could be impartial or uncomfortable about illegal aliens, sexually explicit talk/pictures, do you have personal experience with victims or perps, etc... and then the last question was: What do you like to do in your spare time? Guess they wanted to lighten the mood after all that downer stuff.

Interesting to hear how other courts operate. That's a long questionnaire - ours is one page, pretty basic information. Never heard any of our attorneys ask a juror what they did in their spare time. A 10 day trial would be a felony or maybe even federal case and a fairly big one, from the sounds of it. We've had murder cases that didn't go on that long.

Woohoo! I'm doing a happy dance in my chair! My Volt has arrived!

I have a question, though. I got the diamond end caps, but can't get the LED cap off the battery. Do I just use a tiny screwdriver to pry the LED cap off? I don't want to ruin it if that's not the correct way of doing it. Thanks for any input!

BTW, I'm loving the watermelon and grape! Can't wait to try other flavors! :vapor:

Yes, that's exactly right, just pry off the old cap w/a small something...there are tiny square holes that you will find if you look hard. Then just put the bling cap on...if it has a hard time fitting, push down the wires so it will fit better :).

Thank you Esoterica3 and crbrown! I tried with my fingernail and broke my nail! LOL! They are so weak! Anyway, I feel your pain, crbrown. I ran out of cartos a few days before this order arrived and thought I'd have to wait it out 'til Monday. I sure hope my order lasts 'til next payday for me, as I only ordered one pack of each watermelon and grape! EEK! Okay, I'm off to try and pry this LED cap off! Thanks, again! :D

You may want to just pick up 30ml bottles of the refill liquid. That'll save you a lot of money in the long run. Couldn't live without my watermelon and grape. Well, I could live, but I'd be very, very sad. :(

oh sorry... to answer about advice on combo packs & equipment....

Buy at least one of the Sampler packs to figure out what flavor(s) float your boat. A 78mm battery - I prefer auto, you may prefer manual if you are used to using mods. The USB charger if you don't already have one to fit a KR808. Those will give you an idea if you want to dive in further.

Thanks for the advice. I think I will go small to start as you suggest. Maybe just a battery (78mm, maybe an auto for a change) and some cartos. However, since I have a ton of juice (BWB, AV and Vaperite for the win) already I think I will just go w/the blank cartos.

Oh I will be, rave! My husband is jealous, because the Volt cartos won't work on his V2 for some reason. I figure it has something to do with ohm's or voltage or something like that. So, guess who is making the switch to Volt? He loves how the automatic batteries work better than the V2's do!

Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend! I'm out of here for a bit! :vapor:

Hey all,

Since Imagine mentioned earlier she did not mind discussions of other vendors, thought I might post this here.

I started a thread in the "Request for opinions/review" thread the other day (looking for new liquid I may love :) ), but although there has been 50 views, I've had no love.

Was wondering if some of you could go look. It's a bit verbose, so maybe that is a prob, or maybe it's just no one who's looked can help based on what I asked. At any rate, If some of you could go take a look I'd be very grateful, I did mention in the thread that I mostly use volt 808s.

Here's the link:

Thanks so much in advance!

Not sure if it's allowed in this thread, to talk about other juices. Searches don't seem to bring up this thread for some reason, and it would take me eons to read every page -haha. And, not too many reviews on SI juices compared to others.

As it would be competing juice, I understand if it not allowed.

I'm only 2 weeks in without an analog and so far love Volt and love SI juices. But.... I have nothing to compare and was just wondering what other juices Volties like. So far, I love 555, Ice Menthol(as a filler between tobacco carts), Freedom seems very nice, and Ry4 not sure as I like it to start but not sure on the finish of the carto.

Very well said uncle & +1 couldn'nt agree more

Hi hbclub, seems your post got a little sidetracked among our chattering. Woot way to go on two weeks.
I am a big sweet tooth but was never really that crash hot on fruit Flavours ,either they tasted weird or were missing the flavour strenght. For straight fruit flavours i only get them fromSI . I use classic grape, cherry and have watermelon on hand for a change.
I love their cappuchino, Ry4 , cowboy and really like their freedom but keep forgetting to add it to my cart.
I used to order massively from fsusa's for their pure cig ( which freedom replaced) and their RY5 , which SI's Ry4 replaced.
But i found that their juice just doesn'nt hold up too well with these carto's - i get flavour loss and disfunctional carto's after a few refills. Nothing bad against them or anything they are a wonderful vendor too.
The juices that worked just as good flavour wise n carto wise for me were ms.t's juices ( but now ) i only use SI and KBV as im in love with their special K tobacco. You see what i found with SI's juices is that they bring heaps of clean & very tasty flavour through with out overdoing it and ruining the overall taste.
I dont know if i was helpful or not as im also limited to where i can order from , but i have tried many a vendor and Overall SI is a great company with excellent products n juices to boot.

Esoterica i didn'nt forget you, i went and had a read but cant help ya. Have'nt ordered from most of those vendors, so cant really comment on any similarity's we may have, and any suggestions i might make might just turn into a throw around on cash for more juice, which wouldn'nt be ideal. I'm sure another voltie will step in when they wake up ;)

How is the cherry btw? I have been searching for a cherry that doesn't taste like cough syrup for a long time. I had some in a pre-filled 901 kit (a looong time ago) that was really good.

I started out with cherry, as that's what I'd smoked in tobacco previously (little cigars). SI's is the best I've found, but not if you want fruit flavor as opposed to more of a candy flavor. To me, it's more like a maraschino cherry, and I love it with a drop or two of my favorite straight tobacco flavor mixed in.

That doesn't sound bad at all. I may have to grab a sample.

I agree with Carrie. It's more of a candy flavor than a fresh fruit flavor. I ordered some to use for mixing, but found that I like it by itself too. It's not overwhelming and not too sweet, just a pleasant cherry taste.

welcome to the thread Camp43
I think that another reason the Mega PCC is being discontinued is because of its poor charging performance. See steeljan's Channel - YouTube. Before you jump on me as a SI basher, remember Steeljan has consistently praised the Volt as the best PV on the market.

I came across this video while I was researching the Volt. I am someone who has a ton of mods and am looking for a simpler method of vaping while I am out and about. Any advice from Volt owners about the best package and/or combo of parts to buy as an intro to Volt vaping would be appreciated.
