There is suposed to be a non rubber finished gold.... Things got a little confused as we wrapped up yestarday there will be a gold with non rubber finish...what is on the site is the copper.
Will get it all straightened out this week

Hey everyone - Merry Xmas and happy holidays to all! Have any of you had a USB charger where the LED light stays either blue or red regardless of whether there is a batt screwed in or not? I have one charger (the most recent one I purchased), and the light remains red, always. I have another that remains lit blue, also always. So it's very difficult to discern when or even if these chargers are charging the batteries. Anyone else experience these issues? TIA -JP

I am so glad you mentioned this ... I have the same problem with all USB chargers I acquired prior to discovering SmokelessImage. The only USB charger that works for me is the one that came from SI ... it is blue until battery is connected - turns red while charging and then back to blue when the charge is complete ..
Don't do THAT!! You'll put your eye out!!!

JP--Any time I've had a problem with the Volt USB chargers, it's been due to either the charger or the batt (or both) needing to be cleaned. A quick swab with an alcohol dampened q-tip does the trick.

I know that I am challenged when it comes to web sites . I keep looking for the listings for the copper & gold batteries, This big dummy cant find them.
