Keep in mind we haven't photographed the finished product ...this was just the prototype. The lid will not have black on it ...it will be completely see through....in colors: gray, blue and purple....
It is the same length and with of the slider ...it is just 5mm higher/deeper.
It has a 2200 mAh removable battery.
It will have a lift up/pop up top.
It will charge 1 battery at a time...
The battery pictured is the 65mm
The black open hole on the bottom left is where the LED display is...
The screw you see exposed is not in the final version.
AND WHAT I THINK IS SUPER COOL...YOU PUSHING DOWN ON THE LID WHILE IT IS CLOSED TURNS THE BUTTON ON...NO NEED TO OPEN UP THE PCC

Well, we got the mountain of Volt stuff today! Yippee! So far, he's liking the Ice Menthol & Menthol Burst cartos, but not digging the Cappuccino. Creature of habit, that one... LOL So far, so good! He seems to like the 808 Auto Volt better than the 510 manual he had been using on and off. Hopefully, this will allow him to leave analogs behind for good!!! Wish us luck!
One question - How in tarnation do you get the factory endcap off, so you can install the stealth end caps?

there are little tiny airholes in them ..just hook into it with a tool like a tooth pick and they will pop right out...they are not glued in.

Thanks for the picture Imagine. Is that bigger open slot on the bottom left where the PCC is charged from? Is the charging cable retractable or does it need to be carried separately?
Can I ask a (maybe dumb) question? Why is there no love for 78mm batts with cartos? The old PCC, new PCC and new carrying cases are all sized for 65mm + carto or 78mm without. It's a conspiryacy I tells ya!

the hole is where the LED charging display will be...
The cable will be separate like the slider (there is no spare room in side this PCC...every mm is used functional space)
It's nothing against the 78mm it is just a size issue...this PCC remains the same length and width as the iphone ...just deeper...
But it is 78mm friendly as unlike the slider if you carried 2 78mm batts in it you had NO room for cartos...that is no longer the case...this can hold:
* 2 78mm batts 3 cartos
* 1 78mm, 1 65mm batt and 4 cartos
* 2 65mm batts and 4 cartos.
And you can now leave the condoms on 3 of the cartos...
Plus it has more then double the mAh ....
it can charge the 65mm almost 7x, the 78mm about 3 1/2x.

Yippee! Sounds like he's adjusting! Taste is purely subjective. Not everyone will enjoy the same things! A lot of people are "stuck on" SI Ry4. I can't stand it! But when the cartos are empty, I'll refill with Menthol Burst. I prefer the autos as well. I "resent" having to press a button.
BTW, I spoke to my sister last night. She said that she wasn't "given a number" and she had no clue what my brother's number would have been. However, her diagnosis WAS RCC, and she had one kidney removed. The doctors said that she didn't have to worry that the cancer hadn't spread in her---it was confined to the single kidney. They told her that it was doubtful that it would come back. My brother dying of RCC was purely coincidental. He died because he ignored the warning signs until it was too late. It doesn't sound like this is what your hubby did. This year will make the 12th year that my sister is cancer free.
PSS. I needed to get the endcap off of one of my VOLTS. My father did it with his pocket knife. Anything small and pointy. I installed the endcap on another VOLT battery that had lost it's endcap and it's still working--no problem.

Don't get me wrong, I am happy about being able to carry a few covered cartos and get more charges than before. This will be a good everyday PCC and an improvement over anything else anyone is selling

I think it's more of a way of doing things... I use the 78mm all the time but I only keep one carto going... so I always have to unscrew for a new battery...
Been reading here a lot of you guys assemble a few batteries and cartos to start the day...
The size difference though between an assembled 65mm and a 78mm is 13mm which when it comes to pocket sizes makes a big difference...it would have to be the length of the old mega to do that ....
Will most likely adjust the regular carrying cases though on the next run and add the needed 5 mm

By the way, I got my b**t load of cartos in today, so I'm good thru the Chinese New Year. Ordered on the 10th and received on the 12th - doesn't get any faster than that! Thanks
