Then I'm glad that Rob is quitting smoking on more than one level. My oldest son suffers from allergy-induced asthma, which strikes in the spring and fall. To make it worse, he works with my husband and my brother-in-law, both of whom smoke. I've been trying off and on to get my husband to switch, but he's not ready to take that step yet.
He will open the windows when we are in the car together, and he'll brush his teeth so that he can kiss me. Both my sons and I are looking forward to the day when he decides to quit.
Has Rob noticed any difference in how he feels or how his food tastes yet?
Well, he's noticed that cigs taste burnt and nasty, which is a gigantic WIN, but he hasn't mentioned food. He does seem to be feeling better and I know this is going to sound odd, but his compexion is brighter - not so sallow. Maybe not related, but it's something I've noticed.
As for asthma, when Rob always smoked around me - in the house, in the car, wherever we were - my asthma was horrible. I would land in the hospital several times a year. Since he stopped smoking in the house, I have stopped landing in the ER. Since he stopped smoking in the car, I barely ever have to use my inhaler. It seems my asthma is CIGARETTE-induced! Maybe I'll be cured, once he them out of our lives for good. Wishful thinking, I know, but still.
Saw him vaping OUTSIDE today! That's huge. You have no idea. LOL
