I agree, it is busy. It looks better when I screw a normal P+ flat top on it.

The DID Clone Rebuildable, works like a champ, but not the greatest looking thing on the P+. Looks out of place. Not ashamed of it per say. I'm just not happy enough with it to want to take pictures and put it on a public form...

Not singling you out, i just mean in general.
I loved the look of the P+ because it was seamless, the last few pages of this thread look like Frankenstein creations (a bit of an exaggeration.).
I'm not referring to peoples choices of what they thread onto the P+, just more of a hate with he way the market is going. There are so many add-ons, that we have taken away from the look of its simplicity. Which is what drew me to the Precise in the first place.

Just my thoughts, your opinions may vary. No hate or flame war intended.

I would love to see a pic of a satin DID on a satin P+. I have been on the fence about purchasing one and would like to see how well the finishes mate up. I was waiting for the Strata but with production looking like it will be way out in the future I was hoping to slap my first Geni style on soon. Anybody got a short satin DID and a P+ 650 of 500? I have seen all the pics of the shiny on shiny and that's just not my style.

Here is a Satin Mini DID on a P+16. The finishes are close, but the media blasted P+ finish is far superior to the brushed finish of the DID:

Thanks a bunch AJohnson. So it looks like satin means brushed in Greece.....:banghead:I guess I can send it off to get refinished after I get it but that'd be a pain. Damn you Strata for teasing me with P+ perfection and then not coming out forever!!!!

So with the influx of so many RBAs, I would really like a P+ that stands up firmly. I exclusively use rebuilables, and if the P+ stood firm and securly, I would own 5 or 6 of them. I am aware that the switch assembly is a Super T signature item, but I think with the industry heading in the direction that it is, it would be a good move to redesign the bottom, or make another model that stands firm. Food for thought.

Or somebody will design a rebuildable that doesn't leak like a sieve. That's the direction we should go, IMO.

The problem with that is there must be a hole in the top plate to equalize the pressure in the tank, or wicking suffers bad.
I agree, with all the innovation, there must be a way to equalize the tank w/o leaking when laid down.

Plus, IMO, laying down devices is bad for finishes. I've always stood them up even if they can be laid.
