You are probably correct. It was a poly tube. Well, that makes me feel less of a fool . . . lol

Not sure what you mean by "locking"?

(Sorry about your MIL btw)...

As stated earlier, the "locking" reference is based upon the UDCT concept. I was able to overcome airflow issues for the 808 carto's by adding (4) .063" holes in the lock ring...

I don't think that would work for a 510, as they have a different air path...

At any rate, I was asking because the ability to "lock" the carto on the tank is a good thing imho. I've pulled a full tank off of a carto before...not a good thing ;)

Thanks for answering my question though! Again, sorry to hear about your MIL.

Cuse, I've ordered me some SS tubes I've wanted for so long... except since my 19mm is no longer used they are now in 22. I logged in as a returning customer but at the checkout screen my information seemed haywire. All the information is there... just a lot of gibberish and redundancy in between. Please let me know if you need me to resubmit anything.

p.s. charge me for a fission and throw it in the bag... I wont tell anyone :p

I have to say that the CS from these guys is fantastic ! I emailed them a few times....they got back to me quickly. They helped me to get the setup I was looking for. I am very impressed, and not too many vendors have impressed me.

Now for the bad part......waiting for the beautiful tank that I ordered to arrive !:toast:

Hey cuse just thinking if the top fill hole is difficult maybe a bottom hidden one like the rapid tank from Finland they use a carto sealing thingy as a fill hole seal preaty interesting concept and that way u avoid the killer overflowing after filling :)

Something about a fill hole on the bottom reminds me of putting a cork in the bottom of a boat and feeling confident that it won't be a problem! So I think I'll side with gravity on this one:)

My Pro-V2 arrived a couple days ago and it has been a nightmare. The O-rings are way too loose. The caps basically just fall off with any kind of pull. I can't fill it by taking the top off because it'll flood. If I try to use a slap-yo-mama tank tool to fill it the caps just fall off. My cartos (Boge 2.0 Ohm) don't sit tight in the bottom cap, there is a lot of wiggling and play. And if you were thinking about getting their carto-punch to punch your cartos for your pro-v2, think again, because the punch doesn't adjust far enough to punch holes high enough to clear the bottom cap. I've wasted about 4 brand new cartos and half a bottle of e-liquid trying to maintenance this thing.

EDIT: I'd just like to add that the craftsmanship of this tank IS amazing. Fits the provari great. It's just I feel like for an 80$ tank it shouldn't have these problems.

No offense but I could tell you were new before I even looked:) For one, a carto tank like the Pro-V2 is really not meant to be filled by removing the caps. That is the whole reason on why the carto slides on o-rings. You slide the carto out one side and fill through the cap hole. Yes, if you fill by removing a cap and then push the cap back on a full tank, it is essentially a syringe with the cap and o-ring acting as the plunger and forcing alot of pressure into the tank and making the carto flood. I also think you are getting the slipping and sliding o-rings from that also. The syringe effect forces juice out everywhere! Including around the o-rings. Then they get slippery from the juice that got forced out and the tank seals seem really loose until that juice drys up or you clean the tank. Please watch our instructional video on filling. It'll help alot. As far as the carto punch not reaching. You have the carto in the wrong direction.

Hahaha true :) any luck with the top fill hole yet?

Actually....Yes! I am pretty sure that tomorrow will be the day that we try incorporating the cap fill hole operations into the manufacturing cycle of Pro-V2 and Cartomator VX top caps. It doesn't mean that those caps will be ready this weekend or anything, But this is a major step in the right direction if all goes well.
