No, you need a protection, but for the GG against the surfaces not your hands, lol;););)

But it's much easier to wipe fingerprints off if you don't get any on there in the first place. :D But the basic reason for the towel, as you said, is so that I've got something handy to lay it on when I need to put it down. This is my home use only mod. I can walk around and look like an idiot and no one but the dog is any the wiser.

I dropped mine for the first time today :(. Forgot I had it in my jacket pocket and it fell off when I took off my jacket. Luckily the bottom cap was only affected when it hit the concrete floor, a little dent, nothing too serious.

On a side note, can someone give me some pointers on how they go about cleaning their GGTS components? Should I just dunk everything in boiling water? Or is there a different cleaning method for the brass pieces vs stainless steel pieces vs titanium pieces?

I have always used rubbing alcohol for cleaning everything electrical/metal, I don't know why it isn't recommended more in the world of APVs as it is in other fields (eg audio equipment), maybe imeo would be kind enough to give his opinion on alcohol... :D :D :D

I also use it to clean my high-fi points and I would guess its ok to clean with alcohol the connection points on the ggts like " buttons-pins-connectors"

That happened to me also, I have learnt that I should never carry my daily GGTS in my shirt pocket

Little dent on a GGTS is not that bad, like many others say, it gives to it his own style or character, a mark of war :D

I'm not an expert on cleaning my GGTS (many utilize ultrasonic cleaners), I use a toothbrush, some hot water and hand soap.

It seems as though the damage from the fall might have affected the juice control on the Penelope, maybe it got slightly bent. It is a little tough to turn the juice control because I believe it is leaning a bit more towards one side. Therefore the juice control mouthpiece is rubbing hard against the top cap o-ring each time I turn it. I think this is the case at the moment, can't really tell though because it is very subtle. It doesn't really bother me but I would like to fix it somehow.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Where can I order another juice control piece? I don't see any on the CoV website or the e-smokeguru website.

I think your issue is easy to be solved dok. Ok, screw every piece of Penelope in place and try to unscrew the mouthpiece. If you see that its rubbing the cap then push it with your thumb in the opossite way or try different ways to push the mouthpiece. After every new push try the mouthpiece to see its contition.

I was thinking about this but didn't take the chance as I thought it might damage the threads or I may snap the juice control piece.

@CaptSteve - I actually tried this and it is very subtle that I could barely notice.

I too got my GGTS today. I love it! I'm almost afraid to use it for fear of scratching it. LOL. I can't wait to get Imeo's 510 extension. I love it. I can't wait for my stealth to get here. Thanks Imeo for making these awesome PVs.

These are meant to be used, do not worry. A good polish makes the GGTS look brand new!
