While on vacation down on the coast and against my better judgement, I took my Sabre Touch to the pier to do a little Speckled Trout fishing. In one of those moments where you know it's a bad idea, but you do it anyway...I set the ST down on the rail of the pier while fishing. My actual thought was, "after this cast I'm gonna set that thing down on the floor."

Well as luck would have it, Mr Speckled Trout decided to hammer my lure right at that moment. A perfectly side-swept hook set sent the ST down to Davy Jones' locker. The trout was oversized, so I couldn't even keep it. Definitely an "Oh Crap!" moment.

So...make me feel better. Share your "Oh Crap!" moments regarding your PVs...PLEASE?!?

I was picking up a glass of milk from the top with 2 rn4081 batteries in the same hand. As I gripped the edges of the rim I thought...I hope I don't drop a battery in there. Next thing I know..plop. I pull it out...the end is blinking...I'm freaking out wondering just what do I do with it??? The hubby tried to clean it up..I'm telling him PUT IT DOWN we don't know what could happen. I'm thinking..ok put it in the microwave..if it blows up it will be contained and it won't be too expensive to replace a microwave.

Finally my husband pulls out an empty chicken can, filled it with water, dropped the battery in and we placed it in the freezer. We shut the door and said a prayer. Thankfully all was well.

Wife has a Pink GLV SuperMini...went for a whole cycle in the washing machine. It was in the pocket of her nursing uniform, she left it out for me to inspect when I got home from work. The cr123 was dead "put that in the trash", after i dried out the supermini and put a new carto on it.. it was back in action..die hard GLV.

Those are too funny! So far I havnt had any accidents, but I did loose my PV in the bed a couple times. Hubby said I was vaping in my sleep!!
...lolol Lace that is everynight at my house, my wife is always falling asleep with hers, that is why I like the Supermini, I cant see that button being pressed without wanting to..

Tuesday night i got rather drunk, me and the mates decided to go out. We were taking a shortcut through Grant Park and, while running, my Ego passthrough falls out of my hoodie's pouch. I realized it fell out when i stopped running, but i was not searching a 50 ft long area of grass at 1am for my PV. It was a long night for me, as i had no backup PV with me, and I didnt have anything till i got back home the following afternoon. :(

Shortly after I started vaping ... in fact I think it was literally the first time I'd taken my PV out of the house ... I was at a beer tasting in a local restaurant and lost the PV down the back of the bench I was sitting on. Lifting up the padded seat, I discovered that the inside of the bench was surprisingly wide and deep, and pitch black. I ended up dangling my whole torso down inside the bench, hanging from my hips and reaching around in total darkness until I found the PV by touch; good thing I'm relatively agile.

Not so dramatic, but worse, was losing a carrying case full of 510 PVs and bottles of niquid on the monorail in Seattle, never to be found again.

My very first black silver bullet smacked the hard concrete ground more times then I could count at work...had to put it my shirt pocket lol. I've lost PV batteries at work also and could just imagine the ppl wondering what they went to.

Just recently I dropped my black Omega on the ground in front of walgreens and has some war wounds now, but all I can say is that the Omega has some character to it now lol.
