At least I think that's what it tastes like, not ever having actually smoked a sock before; however the eGo T is providing an excellent facsimile thereof. Mmmmm, burnt, nasty plastic, yummeh. First atty was 100% burnt nastiness all the time. Second atty was great at first, but would then revert to a mild aftertaste of burnt grodiness. Then, after a day, it also decided 100% burnt was a good flavor for everything. Plus the tanks? Frequently suck. One out of maybe five or so just didn't fit no matter how you shove, or the end cap insisted on popping off inside the atty, necessitating a retrieval operation using my needle tipped tweezers that really ought to be used to knot pearls, not probe a PV's depths.
I was poking around and realized that an eGo is threaded for 510. Is there any reason I can't just stick a 510 cartomizer on the eGo battery? Cartos hold plenty of juice for how I use them. I'd love it if I could just pitch the bloody tanks and use some basic cartos, and not have just wasted $70 to vape plastic. (The crap overpriced RN4081 I bought was cheaper and better tasting, not to mention way less hassle, how sad is that?)
As it is, the eGo T is resting inside my drawer and I'm using a plain ol' 510 I got for $20ish on a Memorial day sale and enjoying the burnt-yak-free taste quite a bit.
