So I gave my new baby a good bath. When i put it back together the bottle cap was kinda low so i tried to adjust it. I ended up pulling the tube to hard and it broke off. If it was just the plastic tube I think I'd be okay but this little metal piece is in there. Did i snap some connector? Does it by chance just screw back in or maybe majical magnets ( I'm just hoping its something easy)

Looks like the REO 510 pin snapped off at the nipple
I doubt that it will screw back on unless you unscrewed the little nipple that the tubing is super glued to
This is probably one of the main reasons for the new and improved indestructible adjustable REO 510 connection

I guess I'm going to have to send in my one and only
This is your REO talking to you...telling you that you NEED more than one!!

I ended up with REO # 2 when I broke the positive contact on REO # 1. I sent #1 in for fixing & 510 upgrade, ordered # 2. #2 came along before #1 when back from the spa. Had to resort to dripping for a couple days, it was rough, but go through it, don't wanna do that again:D

:( I'd just send it in. Could cost you more in the end trying to do it yourself and have it break off when you go to tighten that brass nipple.

Should get the new Stainless steel adjustable 510 as well so that can never happen again and if you ever need to change out the gold possitive contacts you can do it yourself without fear of breaking anything.

I have 7 reos with the new 510 ss adjustable connection and 0 probs.

I even pull the tunes off everytime I clean them and on the reo woodvils and no issues no breakage. Stainless steel Isin't gona break easy.

+1 all day long. This is the only way to go IMO.
