Oh no! Ruined???

Call it the first of fall and the temp drops through the floor...busted out my trusty leather jacket and YUCK!!!!! It SMELLS!!!! Like cigarettes! That's what I used to smell like?

Well, Im hoping I can get the smell out, I love that jacket!!!!

Steve should buy stock in febreeze and throw travel bottles into customers first orders, they are going to need it and use it like crazy!!!!!!!!

Dry cleaning, from what Ive read can lock it in...going to try an ozone machine...those work great in smoking hotel rooms!

I had a top on last night I haven't worn in a long time. Apparently since I smoked because I was in the car, sniffing, and realized..wow my top smells so bad. Hubby thought it was funny. Sigh.

Whenever my wife wears a top with a strange smell, I make her take it off immediately. Got us in a bit of trouble at the Walmart...

I heard if spraying clothes with vodka before throwing them in the dryer helps eliminate that smokey odor.

But I guess that only works with things you can put in a dryer.

To me, everything can go in the dryer, and if it's hubby's shirt and happens to shrink, I got myself a new shirt

Sheeeesh! What is it with ECF and vodka??? "Soak your atty's in vodka"... "Spray your clothes in vodka...".

Heck, just drink the vodka and you won't be so dayum concerned about your atty's and clothes!! ;-)

Saddlesoap will take care of that. I recently had a similar situation. The leather will be happier for it, too-- makes it all purty again.

Id say place in dryer on low with dryer sheet that is sented.

Id it still smells take to dry cleaner and get professional advice...
