Friend of mine always had what he called a slush fund for hiding purchases from his "bride" as he always called her. His latest purchase was a $900 pool cue as a retirement gift to himself. He does shoot a mean game for sure.

This stuff is hysterical. I have friends who will hide purchases from their husbands (under bed, trunk of car, etc). I had no idea that men do the same.

I haven't hid a purchase from my wife but I have considered having things delivered to work

I never hide my purchases from my wife. The packaging they come in, that's a different story. Once it's out of the packaging, "I've had that for a little while now, dear."
