Yeah I can't stand Dr. Oz either. He was included sarcastically.

I still spoil my daughters to date. It what this dad does...yet they know I spoil them not because they need to be spoiled but because that is me. I don't expect anyone else to be me. If I did, I wouldn't be me.
Don't get me wrong.
Mine want for nearly nothing...

We just don't cater to their every whim when they want attention.

Love the pool, mate. I judge no one for how they raise their kids. They are their kids.

Goes back to the OP. Wife got furious that she needed help bathing their child. He was to busy doing whatever to his device to be bothered and told her to f-off. I would be giving my wife 50% child support and alimony if I would have said that. They the device went flying.

Not sure how we got from that to people spoiling their kids, but eh.

The way I read it she didn't NEED help. (Other than possibly emotional) She demanded it.

Put the damn kid down somewhere safe and get the damn supplies you should already have.

Surely dad's willing and happy to help when it's actually needed and/or he's not nic fitting.

Also take notice of the thread title. There's a clue there.

Either way, it's all conjecture.

I only commented on throwing the mod.

Say what you want, that's about as childish as it gets.

I stopped throwing things in anger at about 2.

Ya gotta excuse me, bro. But I'm still stuck on podiatrist, never mind Dr Spock or Dr Oz (or even Dr F...)
In that light I really must comment on those rubber shoe slide crock things your kids are wearing.
Bad, bad, bad for their little feet. No support whatsoever. Better to let 'em run around barefootin' than
clad their cute little toes in those things.

That said, nice spread.
Regards,
Hazy :smokie:

Support at the arch where they need it when they're inactive around the house and great for by the pool.

They wear appropriate shoes when they're active on their feet

Well y'know... it's ONE thing to throw your own stuff... like the glassware and mugs I used to chunk when angry. It's a whole 'nuther ballgame to throw OTHER PEOPLE'S stuff!!!

Ehh...my old lady got some of those for herself and a pair for my son.
All you have to do is watch somebody walk in those to realize
their ankles wobble.
I won't argue the point with you, they're your kids.
But be sure your health insurance covers podiatrists..as well as pediatricians. LOL.
I melted my wife's crocs and made a real neat mod stand.
My boy won't wear his 'cause he says they look feminine.

Still, nice spread :)

That's stretching things quite a bit.

Unless there's an underlying issue or total lack of coordination and basic motor skills.

Now I'm concerned for your family.

Nah, no need for concern, they're healthy enough to put up with me.
Now the wobbly ankles ETC I've seen on everybody wearing crocs
not just the old lady (she wobbles as a matter of rule but she has vertigo)

See, when those slides became the vogue she wanted to buy me some
so I made it a point to notice all the croc walkers wobbling around
and put my foot down!
I'll stick to my mud kicking boots and Propét slides, I don't like podiatrists.

Regards to your family.

Especially their vape stuff.

Yep... that's right up there with those rude so-and-so's that grab cigarettes out of people's mouths -- if anyone had ever done that to me, I swear I'd have decked 'em. Just knocked 'em silly.

I'm occasionally afflicted with "positional vertigo"... just sitting here at the desk, and all of a sudden I'm like "Woah, DUDE!" I swear it's like I just consumed a 12pack, and I haven't had a drink in 23 yrs! :D

LOL...If you'd ever fired up a smoke in a restaurant's no smoking section
while I was having my meal you would have had to deck me.
Yes, I've done that several times WHEN I STILL SMOKED.
Now-a-days, given our new socialist economy, the closest I get to a restaurant is
BK's drive through....vaping :)

Good thing you don't live in California; prohibiting vaping in drive throughs is probably on the list...

No, I'd never have done that; we always sat in the non-smoking section for the kid, and the ol man was only an occasional Black n Mild smoker, and I really preferred to eat without a noseful of cigarette smoke. I started smoking outdoors in 1997, and my sense of smell started improving right away, though I still smoked 2 pks a day.

My mother had it when I was growing up.

Wouldn't wish it on anyone.

Neither would I. When we go to the store I have to hold her to keep her steady
until we get to a shopping cart she can hold on to.
"You're no fun you fall right over" I say but...I know it's no fun for her.

I think Andria just needs to drink more coconut water.
Low potassium will give you that "positional vertigo"
