Well I had to remove my banner. Made it two days without an analog. Finally broke down during the night. I don't consider it a failure just part of the learning curve. I thought when I made it I might have been rushing things to soon. I guess I could have left it up and one would know, but that would be a lie. So for now I'll just stick to vaping and be happy with the progress I've made so far. I hope this can give courage to others who are struggling with the analogs. Don't give up. Just keep. vaping. Our day will ccome soon enough.

Yes, but you're also cheating yourself out of those two days. How about just going back to the source of your banner and removing two hours of it? Seems fair to me, and more truthful, too. You did save that money and avoid those cigarettes, after all... :)

Never thought of that. OK I'll do it dont know if i can removel hours so I may just have my quit date one day later. That should do it and I'll still be happy in case I trip over my big feet again. :)

Hey buddy, you're far from a failure. If you were, you wouldn't still be here, and still vaping and making the effort at all. You'd simply give up and go back to smoking full time if you were. As others have said above, look at how many cigs you have avoided thus far, that's the real sign. You're doing great, and we're all pulling for you man!

You're putting way too much pressure on yourself. It's OK if you can't just start vaping and immediately quit smoking. You see people that say they did just that, but they're the vast minority. Most of us continued to smoke while we vaped for at least some period of time. Smoking is an incredibly hard habit to break.

Don't set yourself up for failure. If you need a smoke, have a smoke and don't even worry about it. Having an "accurate sig" is a completely pointless exercise. If you really want to, you'll get there, I promise.

Good luck!

Tons of ppl cheat sometime dude, just add a cheated so many times thing beside the banner haha, for example " Cheated 09/22/12 4 analogs", that'll be a good reminder

PB eh? Could be worse. Someone on forum's wife said that his juice smelt like dirty socks. eeewww.
as to the cigs, don't fret. I'm still smoking after few months - but I love counting the 15 a day I'm not smoking anymore.

Yea we all have those kinda days. Oh by the way I found out you can't stealth vape peanut butter flavor. Oder lingers or so I've heard from comments. LOL "smells like peanut butter in here"

just made my banner :D now that i'm a week free from analogs i thought it would be a good time, if even to just give me that added incentive to watch the days accumulate...

good luck tnt...! as long as you don't switch back to the butts for good, you're still on the right track.. as posters before me have mentioned, it's definitely not something to beat yourself up over... grab the PV and vape on.....

Thanks all. I can't wait till I get off work in 36min 42sec. At the main campus today and it's really been hard to get that vaping in. That's why I tried the peanut butter. I figure if I keep changing flavors then they can't track me down. Honestly it's been a good day overall. Vape away. Been making up songs all day long.

I still had a good morning cigarette, an after dinner cigarette, and a good night cigarette for about a week after I started vaping. Don't beat yourself up. It's a process to retrain yourself and come to prefer the vapor instead of the cancer stick.

You're doing fine, OP. And before you know it you won't want them anymore. One day you'll just forget to have them, you won't even think about it.

Chin up, buttercup :)

Vaping doesn't mean that you can never again have a smoke your just changing the direction of how you smoke. Even if you have a smoke every now and again it's still doing you a lot of good. Stick with it and you will loose the want for the cigs all together and if you stumble along the way it's ok...

Of course I'm a right wing nut job.....I believe in personal responsibility, NOT government responsibility...:)

You're not alone. Last time around I barely had need to smoke, but this time I need some analogs a day... I try not to keep them at home, or at least far away, in the car's glovebox. Maybe upping the mg a little would help. Last time I went with just 1 analog a week for 9 months!
