I agree with PoliticallyIncorrect.
Yes, this has happened to ALL of us.
And it's really not a big deal. Having 3 drags on a cig is not the end of the world. Hell, having a whole one, or two, or three, is not the end of the world. And the more you pressure yourself, the harder it will be.
I did manage to totally stop smoking the first day. I wanted to quit, and I decided that if vaping took most of the edge off, I'd just keep vaping. And if I really wanted a cig, I'd have one. It just turned out that vaping really did it for me.
And then, 3 weeks in, I was in a very stressful situation, and I had a cigarette.
It tasted like crap, and didn't make me feel any better. Well, now I know.
The fact that I had a cigarette isn't the end of the world. I still consider myself 2 months smoke-free, even though I had that one cigarette somewhere in the middle.
Having one cigarette doesn't automatically transform you back into an active smoker. Smokers smoke every day, multiple times a day. I just had a cigarette. No big deal.
Went straight back to my e-cig, and that was that.
