Ohms - do I want more or less?

Hey, ecf, it's been a while. I've been vaping standard Joye 510 atomizers for about a year. I'm looking into buying some new ones, and I really have no idea what to look for (I'm not very gifted in the physics of electricity ).

So, ohms, more or less? What's the point in getting an atomizer with 5.0 ohms over one with 2.5?

I would go with a 2.0 ohm. The higher the ohms the cooler the coil will be at same voltage.

LR is only used if your battery is at least 450 mah. The lower the ohms the quicker your battery will drain.

Stick with the 2.5. Your 510 wouldn't be able to make any vapor at 5ohm. That is meant for high voltage vaping. Also don't go lower than 2.5ohm, your battery will fry from the current load

If you have a regular battery that looks like an analog it's only 180-280 mah. The mah is how long your battery will stay charged.

2 Ohm give a much warmer "better" vape on e-go K-go etc. (IMO) as they're hotter . I have both 2 and 3ohm Boge for my e-go and prefer the warmer 2ohm and better TH it gives compared to the 3.
Some "sweet" juices may benefit from the 3 ohm even on ego types? ????

Have you ever tried an Ego. Those are good. I personally use VV mods. I can use a wide variety of atty and cartos on it since I can control the voltage.

...to bottom line some of this info...with a slimline, ciggy sized unit, stick with 2.5-3ohms...below this may fry your batt and above may not be able to tell you are vaping...
...to use lower ohms, you need a bigger batt such as the Rivas(better than an eGo IMO) or better yet the Kgo...both of these will really rock with 1.7 and 2.0 ohm cartos...
...to use higher than 3ohms, you need higher voltage to take advantage of them...
...dual coil cartos...I just plain don't are for them on 3.7v devices since the vape is too cool and they need to warm up before the vapor starts to increase from the dual coils...these cartos really shine up around 4.8-5+volts......
