Trying to build a simple single coil using 24g kanthal on my Magma. 11 wraps around a 3mm post. Tests fine on my meter but when I put it on my mod it goes all over up and down. Went as low as .34 then up to 1.6. Been building as I have in the past. Not sure why I am having issues now. Any assistance is appreciated.

Loose post screws? Cracked 510 insulator? Loose atty hot post? Soft or intermittent connection to the mod's center pin or battery?

Have you tried the atty on a different mod?

Ethan's. Turns out I was leaving the legs too short and the coil was getting a little too close to the posts. Built another and kept it proud of the posts. Good to go.
