this is what my current is like...
You shouldn't have any problems with that rda on any mod.
If you like the limitless, check out the AV mods, most, if not all if them are direct to battery. Kindbright also clones AV mods, I'm using a Time Keeper now.

I know its brass and copper, but it matches my .38 bullets :D
I'm waiting on my brass Goon from 3f :)

If you stick around, we'll walk ya through it every step of the way. We were all beginners once :)
one thing I was wondering about was if it fires on say an rx200s and an ohms meter without problems, that would make it alright to fire on a mech right?
I mean I know how to build its just that they are not protected like regulated devices and I don't want to be another statistic :D so the help is appreciated

I build my rdas around .3 for my mech mod.
As long as the build is not too low, under .2 and you use good, trusted batteries, you should be fine with a mech mod.
There's a handful of us women that use mech mods on a daily basis ;)

Well for me it would be .4 ohms using a sony VTC5 which I think should be at 4.2v 10.5 amp which is safe ?
all the sites say they are atleast 20 amp continuous.

Sounds like all ya need is the mod :)
I will make one suggestion that never seems to be mentioned when talking about mech mods. Unlike regulated mods, mech mods need to be cleaned good before use. Most companies don't take the time to inspect mods for burs or metal shavings. If it's brass or copper, it's probably gonna need the threads cleaned and all the contacts.
Most mods are fairly easy to disassembled and put back together.
I would also suggest a mod with magnets instead of spring button. If the spring gets hot too many times, it has the potential to fail.

One thing I failed to mention and to stop some people from saying I shouldn't use one...
I actually have the limitless mech...I have it all set up just didn't want to fire it incase I messed up :D
But as before if it fires on a regulated device it should be safe for a mech right?

You got the blessing of someone who actually what they're doing, so enjoy! Your ideas for builds that don't stress the battery are refreshing. The far more common is "I built this 0.04 ohm coil and getting great cloud, but the mod is getting really hot to hold. Is that still alright?"

I would never build that low... even if it was safe... :)
the lowest I have gone is 0.20 on a regulated, well unless you want something bad to happen you have to ask questions :)

6 wraps on limitless rda and its 0.40 ohms
sorry for the slow reply...
No man, do things on you're own time.

You're answering the questions it takes to troubleshoot.

That's the important part.

I meant what tool were you using to wrap with. To gauge coil diameter.

But that's why I also asked for resistance.

A single 28 gauge kanthal coil should fire right up.

Are your threads, contacts, switch and battery posts clean, making good contact and free of pitting?

Are your insulators healthy?

Feeling anything heating up? Explain.
