I have been recommended Ijoy Limitless Style RDTA and Mod Kit by a few people

Does that "Limitless style" mean it's a clone (OK, it probably is)? A clone mech can be OK if well made. Obviously I don't know that particular one in the UK, but if you have friends who use it and are pleased with the construction, and it has a proper 510 on it for use with the RDTA it should be a good deal.

Im pretty sure they are all clones on that site...
What would you class as a proper 510?
Like the ones in regulated devices or directly touching the battery?
Thanks for all the help btw :D

Like the ones on regulated mods. Having the 510 make direct contact to the battery is a setup for a really bad outcome unless the atty was specifically built and paired with the kit. There is no performance improvement by having the pin directly on the positive end of the battery. All you've done is significantly improved the likelihood for a short to occur.

However, there are hybrid mechs built with the tank designed integrated to function with that specific tube that I guess can still be found today. I'm not a big mech person, so discussing real hybrids I'll leave to the people who know what they're talking about.

Should be fine. To my knowledge the Limitless in that came with a 510, not a hybrid connection. I think. Check out the mech subforum on here in the mods section. There's probably even a thread about it so you'll know what you're getting and what to expect. I know there are also different sleeves available so you can dress it up however you like.

Every deck is the same in both of them...
Well I tried it on my mod and it works so... :)
It's just a case of if its safe since it's supposed to be adjustable...
Even if it was discussed, every little helps as I want to move on to mechs soon.. :)
@Kprthevapr and @Bad Ninja should be able to make stellar recommendations for mech mods when you're ready.

I believe they own close to a clone of everything ever made.

It looks like it is direct to battery to be honest...

Well I would love to get into it but i'm worried that even if it reads alright on my ohms meter ( which seems to be broken now after 1 day ), and fires on my regulated device that there still might be problems which wouldn't be good...

Really? I couldn't find an image of the top. Yeah, I'd wait for the mech gurus to show up before committing to anything.
You rang :)
Gimme a few minutes to get some coffee and I'm down to help :)

I would suggest a different atty before going mechanical. ;)

With a direct to battery contact you will need the bottom pin the extend far enough that it doesn't short out, like this

I don't have a limitless mod, never really liked it. But most of my mods for the last two years have been direct to battery, with the exception of my RoseFinch, it has a center pin.
