Yes - kgo is the same as ego - from what I remember kgo is 3.7 volts and is probably higher mah that the standard 650mah ego batteries.

oops - meant to quote sloth :)

Er....I have eGos that are 1300 mah twists...oh hell I don't know, I'm always being confused by these things!! I have 24 more or less (as I've given a couple away to new vapers) and all are variable volts no lower than 1000 mah...What ever they are called I haves them!

Not anymore. At least not a couple of weeks ago when I ordered 3 MVP2s for $21 including shipping. Well, I went to the strictlyecig.com page then when I ordered I was on the D&A site. Confusing, but I got what I ordered with no problems.

Was that each or total? Oh my, I feel faint...either way that's a darn good price Fray!!

And lucky for my poor credit card they show at $37, still a great price but not so great I need to order another pile of them.

Instead of clipping the excess wire, try wiggling the wires up and down until they break off. I always leave my drill bit in the coil when I do this as Ive found the coil will move a little sometimes. I never have any over hang from the wires when I do it this way.

Flat faced toenail clippers to clip the lead off pretty flush. I always pull the coil leads tight with needle nose (bit still in the coil, of course), clip those leads off with the toenail clippers, then wiggle the bit up and down until the coil moves up just a hair and the bit slides freely out. The coil is usually perfectly aligned with the juice channel afterwards and the leads are barely visible where they were clipped.

*nodnodnod* yes - I should have specified - original, non VV egos.
I have a bunch too and I still have my original ego batteries, standard 650mah antiques :) I have ego twists and vision spinners... I should pull those out - they make useful back-ups to a back-up!

REALLY???? Awesome!!! That's the best price I've seen on the MVP2, and they have every style! I really like the 'petals'; too bad that tank that comes with it is a dual coil. Just can't stand those. I wonder if it would be possible to rebuild it with a single, anyone know?

I thought I would just rebuild it with a single coil and couldn't even get the head apart to get to the coils.

In that case, I'd probably go with "Plan A" and use one of my Kayfuns. That's the main reason I started looking at the MVP, I really like the looks of the VTR better, and the fact that it's "klutz-proof" but the VTR won't allow the Kayfun, unless I use that extender thing which is really ugly. So the MVP really suits me better, and I love love love my 2 vv3's -- to me the MVP is kinda like a "wide-body" vv3 with more than twice the battery power, so it's gotta be great. :thumb:

I was wondering about those iClears... Can they be rebuilt?

no they cant. And sloth is right, theyre pretty much garbage compared to other options. Although they did help me get off smokes when I first started vaping so I cant hate too hard lol. Betelgeuse tastes OK in them but BG tastes good in any topper.

extremely well put - they did help me get off cigs, and BG, yes, tastes good out of anything I've tried so far :) the main thing I dislike about iClears is you have to keep tipping it to avoid burnt hits and keep it pretty full to aid in that effort. On my PT2 with cotton I can chainvape like it's vapocalypse and no burnt hits (now that you guys solved my problems, thanks again for all the help!!)

got my kayfun lite today...can't work on it til Monday but I'm pumped! not sure what juice to throw in it first!

Yeah I got the "regular" iClears with my first vv3, and you're right, they completely suck. I was a little encouraged to see that these iClears are bottom coil, but they're bottom *dual* coil, and I haven't tried a dual-coil anything that I've even been able to tolerate -- even the Nautilus, that everyone swears up and down is the next thing to the 2nd coming, I thought sucked completely. Even with my Smok UDCT, I got the cartos that are single coil, because the dual coil ones... just suck!

So if the pretty "petals" BDC can't be rebuilt as a single, then I have no use for it either, and will stick to my kayfuns. I have a frost-white M tank that would look pretty good with that petals MVP.

Question! I try to make my pt coils last longer and I get the whole dry burn process, but my flavor wicks totally fall apart! Any ideas on how to replace the flavor wicks? The coils are fine, but flavor wicks are a disaster! I hate having to pitch out a good coil because I haven't got the flavor wick! Help!

And an added note! I am loving my new MVP! I just ordered one for my son and daughter in law too! I am trying so hard to get them off cigs!

Just replace the flavor wick. If you want to just replace it with similar stuff (silica) I highly recommend High Quality Silica Wick - Lightning Vapes -- the 1mm is best, because if you need more you can just add another strand; I think the stock flavor wicks are 2 strands of 1mm.

Or you can use Ekowool, or organic cotton, or rayon -- the latter two highly recommended, but perhaps a bit more challenging to use -- they provide the best flavor.
