Oil in new attys.

I assume this is to prevent rust but are we supposed to clean the new attys before using. I have noticed a funny taste when I first use a new Joye 510. It gies away after a half hour or so. Just curious what the lubricant is.

it's PG, just put your lips on the atty & blow it out, wipe it off, then screw it on............you are good to go.
i use standard resistance joye 510 attys on the daily.

You can also soak your new atty overnight in polydent, or any denture cleanser really. Then dry it out and vape away!
