In the last two months, per gallon prices of 87 octane in Washington, DC has dropped from approx 3.80USD to 1.60USD. I was spending almost 60 bucks to fill-up during the summer months, compared to less than 30 bucks today. I'm happy, needless to say.
How long before they rise again? I'm guessing that they over-produced for a bit, and a few months down the road, the oil cartel will reduce supply once again, thereby raising per-barrel costs again. Right?
