Tried to search this but all I got was folks talking about motor oil...lol. I got this rda called an Atty. Built the coil and fired it up. On some of the flavors I made I get a oily taste in my mouth. Not a nasty oil taste but it is certainly noticeable and not that pleasant. Specially if I hit the device hard. What is that? Doesn't seem right to me.

I got this from flavors I made recently. Do ya think its the flavoring I used? Im kinda confused.

Also when you build your coil dry burn it before wicking.

To clarify, I believe danny is saying to burn the kanthal before adding cotton or any other wicking material. Some may have read that and thought to dry burn the wicking material before letting it wick liquid, which is a huge no-no unless you're using silica.

Good point. That was exactly what I ment. Don't ever dry burn wicking material expecially if it's saturated. Nothing worst then having boiling juice splatter your face:)

If dry burning silica make sure it's not saturated. Rinse the wick and towel blot it dry before dry burning.
