Where do you find 98%-99% Iso alcohol, I went to three pharmacies and a wallmart yesterday and the highest % I could find was 92%
I'm starting to worry about the accumulation of dust inside my Provari, canned air gets most of it out but not all.

luckily i work in a lab and have access to 99.5% but this should work, others may know B&M's that sell it.

I went a Walmart last week looking for 98% isopropyl alcohol. Like the op, all I could find was 91% at mine, so I went and asked the pharmacist about where it might be kept. She told me that I had to have a prescription to get 99% isopropyl alcohol.

Just order it online. Get it before you need it. I use mine weekly to swab the spring and top terminal. A must for ProVari owners, IMHO.

while not all places care about the laws of their state, pure iso can be used to extract certain uhhhhh not so legal substances from certain source materials.

Yeah....I googled 99% Iso and the first 5 hits were on the extraction proses..........Hopefully the fact that it's coming from an electronics supplier and cleaning electronics is the purpose stated on the bottle will keep CID (Criminal Investigation Division) from paying me a visit.

I'm lucky enough to have a great independent, local pharmacy/medical device/supply place that carries all kinds of stuff that CVS, WalMart, ect. don't. They had 500ml 99% iso-alc for like $5.
