Did I mention that I'm lazy? Ultimately, since I'm not buying attys like an HH .357, I consider attys disposable. I'm not very nice to them, but, perhaps due to the fear of being replaced, they continue to work. I have a couple that are over 6 months old, although I only drip about one day a week.

You run low volts/low res? I honestly think people who pop an atty once a week have got to be vaping battery acid or running HIGH temps on their PVs. I'm at 6-9 watts 99% of the time (depending on the juice) and never go above ten.

Not that I'm saying anything bad about high temp vaping, it's to each their own, but I have only popped coils in RBAs, and that was due to my own crap coil wrapping skillz.

I'm cool with watts. You sound clever. The only thing I wrap is my head around concepts (sometimes).

I am unfamiliar with the KGO. ... So you might need a different shield altogether. Someone else can probably answer that. Also, if you shoot Alan with Smartvapes a message, he will be able to tell you what you need -ANY vendor worth buying from will answer that kind of question for you.

As for drip tips, if you get that 510 atomizer from mt baker, you'll need a drip tip that fits 510 atomizers.

if you get a 306, you'll need a drip tip for 306 atomizers.

Cheat sheet:

Drip Shield depends on BOTH atomizer and the PV you will be using.

Drip Tip depends JUST on the atomizer (afaik).

OK so if I am catching onto this correctly, the atomizer on MBV would require a 510 tip?

Clever like a frog! ... wait... Anyway, I successfully wrapped a 2.something ohm coil on an AGA-T and then realized I had no syringe to fill the thing. It was depressing. It's been sitting on my desk for the last... oh... two weeks now? I actually HAVE a syringe now but I prefer to sit and drip. :D

I love posts like this. Two years ago would you have had a clue what it meant? If you had looked into a time machine and read what you would be posting in the future, what kind of odd Lovecraftian world would you think you'd be living in?

The zombies have come and left, "I actually HAVE a syringe now but I prefer to sit and drip."

I've been dripping exclusively for nearly four years now, and I'm super lazy, so...

I generally just drip one flavor on top of the another, but my flavors are generally somewhat complimentary.
It usually takes only one round of dripping for the new flavor to take over.

Even if the new flavor is not all that complimentary, I just deal with it for a few drags, because I'm that lazy.

But beware that some flavors do like to stick around awhile, and some aren't complimentary with anything, like pizza for instance.
So when I switch from pizza (for instance) to just about anything else, I will blow the atomizer out first.

Even blowing the atomizer out is not sufficient to get rid of all of it quickly, but I still won't clean it, because I AM that lazy.
So I have to deal with some peanut-butter flavored pizza for awhile, but I live through it.
:)

OH YES! Suggestions are always welcome

One thing I don't care for with the 510s is that I have to take off the drip tip, drip, and then put it back on again. I supposed I could look into a larger tip or a drip shield, but I am a dormouse and oh so very sleepy.

Cherry Vape Valentine's Day Red Ming - Anodized
this is my tip. the one in the pic. it's literally the only tip I vape out of cause the hole is so wide. but it's expeeeensive and I dnr vapedudes juice. I don't like it. You, however, might, but I don't.

510 Drip Tips, 510 Drip Tip, 808 Drip Tips, 901 Drip Tips
madvapes has a ....-ton of drip tips. if in the description it says "fits most 510s" it'll probably fit. You might need to shove it a little. I usually do. I've never ordered from them BUT THEY HAVE A FREAKIN NASCAR CAR SO THEY ARE AWESOME. /breath

Smok KingKong Celluloid Drip Tip - Mt Baker Vapor - Electronic Cigarettes
dude if you're ordering from MBV anyway... I linked the celluloid because some people don't like the metal taste. but they have metal ones too.

that cherry vapes ming in my picture is the only one where I can drip THROUGH the tip. all the others I have, I too must take the tip off. and I have like eleventyseven.

I have some drip tips that I have that problem with, and some I don't.
And I'm talking about the same tips, just in different colors.

I've heard that the stainless steel tips don't have that problem.
And I have one glass tip and it has never had that problem.

But for the tips where I DO have that problem, I just blow across the top like when you're making a Coke bottle whistle.
Apparently I am even lazier than you, because I would NEVER take my drip tip off to drip.

many tips have holes too small to comfortably drip through. the reason that cherry vapes tip I linked is (a) darn expensive and (b) my favorite is because it's got a hole I can drip through without taking the drip tip off to drip down into the atomizer.

btw drip tip ... s that are pretty: http://www.driptipdesignz.com/

I have NOT received my order from them and don't suggest a $40 drip tip to someone new. BUT DEAR GODDESS THEY ARE PRETTY.
