I joined this forum about a year ago and switched to ecigs for month or two. I enjoyed them, and they did satisfy my cravings. The problem for me was how much work it was. Atomizers dying, small cart capacity, bad batteries, ect. I am wondering if perhaps in the past 6 months someone has came out with a new model that is more reliable and easier to use on a regular basis? I had a couple of D510s, and a 300. I was refilling my own carts, but they just didnt hold enough. Any suggestions? I really want to go back to the ecig.

It looks as if you need to look around some and read reviews... I have an eGo, long battery life with 510. I also am trying out a DSE905 with a 801 atty and cart. ( the 801 has a larger cart. thus less fill ). I used it all day yesterday and changed the battery after 12 hours.

But what I'm trying to say is keep trying as I think you will find something that works for you. Keep a look out in the classified and pick something up used to try. Keep good care of it and if it's not for you, sell it. Good luck ! marya1144

I have eGo, 510, 801, box mod, Janty V3 and trying out the DSE905

The combination of a Tornado with a megacart gives long battery life (8+ hrs) with a 510 cart that lasts about twice as long as a standard..that's what I've been using and I have no complaints. When you think about it, smoking analogs is actually more trouble than vaping once you consider the hassle of finding a warm smoking area, .... disposal, etc. Nothing's easy, but vaping sure beats the heck out of setting things on fire all day long. I smoked for over 45 years before I tried vaping and Ill never go back.

When I tried to go all e-cig, I had the same problems your describing. Battery life and cart life much to short.

The good news is there are a lot of long life battery options. The Tornado as already mentioned. Lots of suppliers now selling mods that hold larger batteries. Mad Vapes sells the parts, and has instructions on their web site to make your own big battery mod. With a longer life battery topping up carts isn’t to bad.

In my 510 carts I am using the “blue foam mod” you can search for it, and a few others. The carts do seem to last about twice as long this way. Of course it’s one more hassle in my opinion.

Also look at the 808 (not sure of exact model) but many here use it. The cart and atty are in one piece and the cart does last a long time. You can refill it four or five times then toss it out. Each cart has an atty built in so it is less troublesome. I tried it and loved the cart life, and ease of use. I didn’t like the vapor or throat hit. A lot of people really like it.

The other new thing if you have been gone awhile. There are a lot of adapters. You can use/try about any atty on any battery. So for example, I could try the 808 carts with my 510 battery without buying a whole kit.

Check this out. Juice Box by Carlos. Can't figure out how to put the link to it here, but if you do a search on ECF you will find it. I think you'll like it.;)

I thought I revive my thread. My wife is likely going to be pregnant soon so I have to quit the analogs. What model advice do you have for me? Heres what I need:
1 Reliable!
2 long lasting battery
3 good strong hits
4 long lasting carts (or should I be dripping?)
5 decent price

Is this too much to ask at this point? So many have came out since I last checked its hard to keep up!

I'll throw in my 2cents on a reasonably priced long lasting mod for dripping. Totally wicked's Screwdriver MKII with Puresmoker LR901 atty's. 8+ hour battery, and an atty that will pop an eyeball out if you're not careful lol. It's small, simple, and pretty powerful. Nice in the hand, and does very well in the pocket, as long as you have the end cap on it. Good luck!

What I have been using and have been very happy with are the Riva 510's from Liberty-flights.com. Batteries last me a good 8 hours. I use Cartomizers with them and they seem to last much longer than the carts between fills. I get a good throat hit from them and right now they are on sale with their 20% off promotion for $30.00. Sounds like this may be one you would want to consider. They carry the Boge Cartomizers also so for $40.00 plus shipping you can get a very decent set up. Just add liquid and go :)
