Ok its my birthday and my day off, so what do I do.... make my first original mod

well I made the nicostick the day before, because everyone said to make one of those first, so here is my first original mod, its real simple, and lots of room to expand on it, but as of now I love it, not sure of a name for it yet, i'm thinking the coffee table mod.

Does the remote still work?

I agree with ya on making something different. Tubes and boxes get boring after a while

no the remote doesnt still work, I didnt even put a led in it, although there is a stock spot for two at the end of it, I used a 14500 as that is what I had on hand, and the existing battery door works(i had to hack away at some of the innards). but there is plenty of room in this mod for just about anything, I just used the parts I had on hand.(i've got a virtually limitless supply of these remotes,lol)

on a side note, the button in the middle fit perfectly, no drilling, I had to widen the power button for the 510 connector just a little, then cut the power and select buttons out of the button sheet, drill two holes in the printed circuit board, glue battery connectors to the board to fit the 14500, hack away at some of the inside to get it to shut again and I was done. I also used the existing battery connectors, just moved them for the mod
