Good point Mike, but may be difficult to install battery connector and wiring.
(Not sure).

I do know that you have been playing on photoshop again.
Quality Avatar BTW.

I have faith that HP could figure out a way to make the components slide in from the top. Depending upon the finished material, maybe a channel could be put into the mold that is then filled in by hand? If it's simple enough maybe the "hand" time wouldn't be too much?

Again, Very good point. Mike.
It's down to the handling time.
The faster the better,
I would like to see HP make a video of his exploits, would be very interesting.
Hint Hint.............

I actually have about three different options for angles that I could attack this from. I will probably try all of them to see what is going to work out the best.
I wish I had some way to CNC the original parts to be molded. As it stands, I am going to have to carve them by hand to get what I want. :(

As for the video...I am sure that my first few attempts at this are going to be quite embarrassing. Maybe once I know what I'm doing ;)

That's a bit personal!!!!!!!!!!1
I don't care what he is playing with, so-long as it is in private...

I just want to see a picture of HP covered head to foot in RTV.
(no innuendos please)

Different stokes for different folks... I gues...

I just wanna see what he's BUILDING!!!! I could care less what he looks like with/without coverings! Just gimmie some inspiration and ideas!!! Oh and a firm timeline for when I can expect to be puffing on a HP Special!

hey guys
Thanks for keeping the thread alive in my absence. I have been out of town for work so I haven't made a lot of progress in the last couple days. I do have my molding supplies now, but I couldn't bring myself to cut one of my existing units in half for molding. I have been rebuilding one specifically to be cut in half when I'm done. I'm pretty much done with it, but I am being extra picky on finalizing it since it will be replicated.

I'll be sure to post some pics as soon as I have something.

Just wanted to chime in that I am also very interested in this project. Highping, you are doing the lord's work here. Good luck with the molding. I'm not sure you could afford to sell these for what I could afford to pay for one, but I'll make some sacrifices if need be. It's just too damn pretty not to have. I don't think I could ever get tired of looking at (or vaping on) one of these.

Very nice design highping. Should prove to do you well if you can crank them out with a mold.

Yeah, my hope is that I can get it molded before all the "knock-off artists" out there take my idea and start having them mass produced in China.

My biggest worry in this whole thing is that I am going to pour all the blood, sweat and tears into developing it, and then a week after I get it going, I will see a knock-off of my design being sold by one of the 'big players'.

I have several other innovations in the works that I have not posted here for just that reason, but this design is the one that I am most looking forward to getting out there. I wouldn't have posted it here either, but I just had to see if it was going to be accepted by vapers before I proceeded and put a ton of time into it (which I already have now).
