Hello!. Great forum.

I decided to try the e-cig idea over the weekend and it appears I have already made a mistake.
I had heard of blucigs, looked for them on the net. They didn't ship to Europe so ended up buying a started kit at greensmoke...and , then, I found this forum...

I would like to get this right , now.

There is a lot of info here, but it seems so complicated !

It's great info, but still I can't seem to figure out what I need.

With the premise that I do smoke a lot at the moment, I would like
-a e-cig as much similar to an analog as possible, to start with, with plenty of replacement batteries for when I am in public.
-a second e-cig for when I am at home, which doesn't need to be similar to an analog, just the best (^.^) and simplest to use.

Which Super-Mini would you advise me to buy and where on the internet? I live in Europe
Which other e-cig would you advise me to buy and where on the internet?

The Ego doesn't look incredibly similar to a cigarette but it's very sleek, light, and one of the best mods that don't look really strange like a big pipe bomb. If you want one of those little ones that look like a cigarette and light up at the end, you'll be disappointed.

I have battery that's sort of the size of cig & charger because that is what I wanted to do. I guess most of us goes through this phase.
Haven't touched it in ages because it doesn't hold a charge half a day and has it's kirks.
Then I got my mods. Keep one in the car and on me. Once a week, maybe twice, I have to swap out batteries--spend a day a month charging them.
I use the Clearomizers. Once a month, I sit down, clean and load. The simplicity of life.

At least give on the e cig look alike enough and get a battery that will last pretty much all day because the charging game gets old fast.

Check out Liberty Flights. They have several models of e-cig that are far superior to Blu or Green Smoke. They have both a UK site and a US site. They're prices, customer service and shipping are outstanding!

If you want 2 to use, make sure to get ones that are compatible so you can switch parts between them ( like a 510 and an eGo, or Riva 510) Try LibertyFlights or TotallyWicked, they both have stores in the UK.

Hi monix and welcome!

For something that looks like a cigarette I would go with an auto joye 510 kit and use standard resistance cartomizers. Battery life is quite short so get yourself a PCC (personal charging case) as well so you can charge your 510 battery on the go. Another option would be a KR808, but it wouldn't be compatible with my next suggestion.

For something at home, I would suggest an ego kit, or an ego passthrough battery (can charge and vape at the same time via USB) with low resistance atomizers (with drip tip) and/or cartomizers. The joye 510 and ego use the same threading at the battery so all your gear will be compatible with each other (except the chargers). And if you decide later that you want more power, a lot of mods use the 510 threading so your cartos and attys will be compatible.

Sorry, can't suggest any european vendors/websites as I live in Australia, but I hope I've helped with the above.

The Riva 510 starter kit at Libert Flights UK, is probably your best bet.

IMO there's no such thing as a good super mini. However, if you really must try one. Here's an m401 knock off for cheap. Some people have paid as much as $80 for that kit.

a 510 is bigger than an actual cigarette and if it has a manual battery it will look nothing like a real cig either. The l88b models will be the closest looking to a real cigarette but you get shorter charges on the batteries. You have to decide whats more important to you.

I find my RN4081 to be exceedingly close to a "real" cigarette. It's a bit heavier, but I've gotten used to it. The biggest problem is that it tends ot be sold in (overpriced) mall kiosks.

I'm quite happy with the size and feel of it, though. I do keep an extra battery on hand when I'm out, but I'd likely do that with any PV.

Keep in mind, though, that I'm still pretty new to vaping, and this has been my one and only PV. I am happy with what I have, though.

If it looks like a cigarette you will be treated like a smoker, if it doesn't look like a cigarette you are more likely to be free to vape places that smoking is not permitted.

It all depends on how often you vape. No one will be able to give you an exact amount of time. If you don't vape a lot, then it could last for a couple of hours or more. If you vape a lot, then it might only last 30 minutes.
I drip and use cartomizers when I'm out and about. Refilling is very easy and it's not a lot of work. If you really want this to work then you'll have to put in some effort. It's not a lot really. It takes about as much time to refill and do maintenance on your gear as it does for you to go out of your house and buy a pack of smokes.

I don't actually plan to use the e-cig to get around smoking bans though.

Monix - Welcome to vaping. Anything you pick is going to be more work than smoking a tobacco cigarette (analog), but it is well worth the effort if you are trying to quit smoking analogs! If you don't smoke analogs, this can be a very expensive hobby and I would advise you not to vap.

Cartridges are fine, but need to carry a small bottle of juice and keep topping them off. To keep the expense down, they are fine to use for awhile and clean very easy with hot water. As for batteries, the manual are best. I had a PCC, which was nice on the run, but the XL 510 battery lasted me all day and you can get 2 XL batteries for the price of a PCC. My son doesn't vap much so the PCC works fine for him.

At a slightly larger size, the ego, tornado or Riva are great for battery life. My Riva is 1100 mAH and lasts me 2 full days with a cartridge. Less with a cartomizer and it also depends on how much you vap. I got 18 hours out of a 5v box mod and the guy that makes it only gets 6 hours. You experiment and see what works best for you.

Do a lot more reading and take notes. You will find an e-cig that works and then you will spend a fortune finding juices you like. If you are trying to quit cigarettes, this is all worth it. If not, I would find another hobby.

I do smoke regular cigarettes a lot at the moment.
I don't particularly want to quit smoking but I could really do without the awful smell of cigarettes everywhere, so I am interested in trying e-cigs, instead of regular cigarettes.
Smoking bans don't bother me too much and I would be too embarrassed to smoke an e-cig where there is a smoking ban anyway.

Having said all that, i do value convenience quite a lot, so the extra work involved with filling e-cigs (charging doesn't worry me as much) is something I am not sure I could get used to. So I need to find the easiest solution from this perspective. if this thing is to have any chance to work for me

"The best" is down to opinions I think so you might have a lot of different answers.

For me, I'd reccommend an ego or riva! I started with the 510 being talked about here because I too wanted one that was more like a cigarette. It was ok, resonably cheap and worked. The biggest problem I had is that the batteries would not last me any more than 2 hours and I hated refilling the cartidges in public. It's also not "portable" for me; the cartridge comes off the atomizer very easily. I don't see them as good for walking around in public with.

I looked for a "better" one and went for the ego tank. Because I have a 510 as well, I can use the same atomizer on the ego if I really want to (I use the 510 ones to drip now). The ego battery will last me three days sometimes! I don't vape as heavily as others but it's amazing to me. Also, the cartridge can hold 1ml of juice at once so it is much more effective as a "public use" e-cig. I only need to refill them once every day and there is no wadding and the cartridge is much much more secure than the 510 (i've never had an egoT cartidge come off the atomizer in my pocket). I carry two on me always in public for different flavours and there's plenty of space for them both in just one pocket. If I think anyone will wonder what I'm "smoking" it's small enough to hide most of it in my hand when I use it.

It is very confusing to start out with e-cigs but hopefully someone will help you and you will find the right ones for you! Good luck!
