I was vaping 95vg cinamon roll from vapedudes.

This carto lasted me a couple of days untill i started tasting a burnt taste (like a dry hit), i thought it didnt have enough juice in it so i topped it off, still burnt taste.. so i took it apart.

IMG_0372.jpg

Is this normal? should i have gotten more vape time out of this? i chain vape sometimes i usually give my PV 3-6 hits then put it down for like an hour or so.

Could the cinamon have caused this? maybe that its high in VG thus not wicking or absorbing properly?

How much vape time should i get out of a carto before changing it? to get the best taste.

This is a Boge 3.0ohm carto

Is there better cartos out there?
if so what carto do you reccomend? im going to be getting a tank and would like to have good cartos for it?
which one has the best vapor and flavor?
i enjoy a smooth vape so TH is not a big deal for me although i like to have a little TH is possible but again its not a big deal.

You have to keep topping those cartos off so you don't burn the filler. Also, like you said, that 95 vg isn't going to wick as good as a pg dominant juice. You should get at least a week out of a carto.

So what do i do? VG does not work on my viv nova and it does notwork on the stardust (cinnamon needs to be in cartos so it doesnt destroy my equipment) What do i do??

Just make sure to keep an eye on your next carto. Keep that filler nice and wet.

I don't use high vg juices too much. Hopefully someone with a little more experience with high vg juices can jump in here and help.

I use all VG, and VG can work in a stardust or tank if it's thinned down right. Mount Baker Vapor makes a great thinned down VG and I assume many other vendors do too. If you arn't tied to VG like I am just use a fifty/fifty mix.

I actually love the Cinamon roll from vape dudes at 95vg i love the ammount of vapor i get, what cons are there to thinning down the juice?

I wouldn't blame the cinnamon, I'm currently using Boge and Smoktech cartos in tanks without a problem. You said that you're keeping it wet (Always keep it wet! per Dr. Vapor), but you didn't say what voltage you were using. Assuming the voltage wasn't off the charts, that would leave A) Bad carto; B) The vg. I've read that vg can be thinned with distilled water, but I don't now what that does to the flavor.

Drip! You're gonna be dripping into a carto all the time anyway. :toast:
I dont wanna! lol but in all seriousness i am going to buy a carto tank.. will this solve all my problems?

BTW dripping is fine (its what im doing now) but id rather drip while im sitting here at my desk than when im out and about.

Actually, you've stumbled upon an occupational hazard with running very high or all VG juices. They don't wick well in clearos. They take forever in cartos. You CAN tweak T3s to use 100%VG (I use Bobas Bounty in a T3 no problem), but like you mentioned, the high acidity from the cinnamon screws that idea. So you're pretty much left with dropping the VG down to something a carto can deal with easily if you can -- or going with something like a DiD with a SS mesh or a carto tank.... Or drip. :)

Voltage is 4.8 on an ego twist and yeah thinning it with destiled water sounds good can anyone chime in on what that does to the flavor?

Some times you just get a carto that isn't perfectly aligned inside. If the coil leans to far one way or the other, this can happen. When you take your drags leave a bit of time between hits for the VG. I use VG only, and this will alow the juice to wet the dry filler. Vaping cinimon and VG is gonna put you behind the eight ball on convienience. Good luck

Don't feel bad. That was an advanced (cough - tech head - cough) answer. The T3 is the Kanger T3; a carto tank is a polypro or glass tank with a metal carto inside; and my guess is "SS mesh" is stainless steel (could be wrong though) and this is a DID (I haven't watched the video yet, so I don't know either) http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/euro-suppliers/296166-new-genesis-type-atomizer-did.html

You can get metal tanks for vivi novas - the "down side" is that you cant see how much juice is left but simply taking off the lid and looking solves that problem. gotvapes sells them in several colors.

As for thinning - you can thin without too much flavor loss. try mixing a 5 ml bottle with 6 drops of water (very roughly about 5% thinning) and try it out.

Yeah - reading the threads and researching all the gear can hypnotize you away from cigarettes, almost as much as getting the nicotine.
