Sorry, my trackpad mis-tracked and put a post in here (without me noticing) that didn't belong here.

You can get metal tanks for vivi novas - the "down side" is that you cant see how much juice is left but simply taking off the lid and looking solves that problem. gotvapes sells them in several colors.
As for thinning - you can thin without too much flavor loss. try mixing a 5 ml bottle with 6 drops of water (very roughly about 5% thinning) and try it out.
Watch out for the new STV Novas (a.k.a. Neptunes). At first glance it looks like a metal nova tube with a window to see the juice level, but the interior is the same as the regular tanks. Doink. Why they didn't make it out of polypro seems counter-intuitive.
Yeah i have a metal tank for my VIVI in my shopping cart but im really interested in carto tanks.. i think thats gonna be my ultimate vape
i guess the real question now is, What are the best cartos to buy for both flavor and vapor, i dont mind throat hit very much its isnt too big of a deal for me
You're venturing into Personal Preference land. I have a Boge in one tank and a Smoktech in the others. I can tell they're different, but the tanks are different too - I wouldn't know how to compare them.
yeah personal preference land can be a tough place to be but how about dual coil vs single coil and the filler material difference?, i know Pbusardo has a great review on the boge vs smoktech
Is there better cartos out there?.
I have a big daddy tank and a Smok Tech UDCT locking tank. I use XL low resistance dual coil Smok Teck (3 hole) cartos on both. 1.5 ohm on 3.7 mods. It kicks tons of flavor and vapor.
So Racehorse was asking me a few questions regarding the UDCT tank. I made a short vid on it, plus some other random stuff. My first PV related vid! Hope this helps someone.
One factor missing from these post is the voltage Eventus was using on the 3.0 ohm carto. It matters.
I use cartos alone, with no tank. I also use a very high concentration VG juice and run 3.7 V. It's 98% VG thinned with a few drops of distilled water (2% H2O). This juice is thick. Sometimes it will just bead up and sit on top of the filler of a brand new carto. When that happens I do the first filling with a hypo. Once the carto has been saturated the first time filling the carto again is easy and fast. The thick juice will sink right into the carto filler.
Once you burn a carto they will never taste right again. Just toss it. Cartos burn when they are run too dry.
How dry do you run a carto before it burns? Depends on the voltage used and the resistance of the carto. I use Smoktech single coil LR XL cartos at 3.7 V. These hold at least 1.8 ml of juice. I never vape a 2.0 ohm carto to 50% fluid capacity. That means I never add more than 25 drops of liquid with a refill. The 1.7 ohm cartos are even easier to burn. I never vape those down past 2/3 capacity. These cartos run hot so a safe refill is 15 to 18 drops of liquid.
I get a week or about 15 ml out my cartos before changing them out.
Using a tank on a carto extends the life of the carto by keeping the filler saturated all of the time.
