Are there any suggestions to chilling out on the spending? Holy crap... In the last 3 days, I've bought 5 different juices. A new cinnamon/mint/menthol mix from the local B&M, Mango Milkshake and Peaches and Irish Creme, a Monster Energy mix, and a 20ml of RY4. I don't even have enough tanks to keep a rotation going LOL. I am still running an eGo twist and my SID which I picked up a spare battery for today also. tanks are 2 protanks, an MT3 and an EVOD. All of the flavors have gotten the taste buds screaming for more, but my wife and wallet are screaming for A STOP!! Any suggestions please.

Only way to stop the spending is by utilizing "self control" ;)

But seriously, I know its hard to resist. Try finding one flavor that you're happy with vaping all day. From experience there are 2 kinds of vapers.

The first kind buy a large assortment of juices (usually from online stores) and almost never finish them. They just go for the variety of the flavors and enjoy testing new ones. This group is the most pricey.

The second kind of vaper finds a flavor or type of flavor he/she likes, and buys a bottle or two at a time and then doesn't buy more until they're out of juice. This saves you tons of money.

Of course, you gotta decide what you're in the hobby for I guess. I've found my niche of juices I like so its easy for me to find all day vapes.

In the end its all up to you!

So far, my favorite is still my cinnamon/mint/menthol blend from the B&M. The sampling is great, but its going to take some serious self control to chill for a couple of weeks. Main goal now is trying out some coil builds. I want to experiment with wicks, SS, kanthal/ribbon. Still, going to have to chill for a bit LOL

I recommend making a plan for your purchases, especially if you're new. Separate what you need, from what you want, and check off a "want" item once a week (or however often works for you)

The cost of a starter kit is easily recouped within days. E-liquids should be sampled first; there's no sense in buying 30 or 100 mL of something you've never tasted. Then you can vape through your juice collection, for quite some time.

You might also want to try different nic levels, throughout the day, so you need more tanks to do that.

If you jump into vaping, with both feet (i.e. get a kit plus all the accessories you could possibly ever need) you can easily spend $200.

Keep in mind maintenance/replacement costs too:
- An eGo batt is designed to be recharged 300 times; it doesn't hold the same charge after that, until it just dies on you.
- All tanks need regular cleaning
- Some tanks have replaceable atomizers, which you have to buy (unless you want to try your hand at rebuilding them, but you still need supplies to do that)
- Cheaper tanks are disposable (!)

Unless a pack of analogs costs $2-3 in your area, you'll save money.

Cool! Thanks for the app suggestion, that will really help a lot. I need something to tell me that the $330 in just this month alone was worth it lol.

Unless you were averaging at least $11 a day on cigarettes it's most likely going to tell you that you need to get your spending in check. lol

I think I'm in the middle of the curve where I'm starting to spend on more advanced equipment. For over a year I've been happily vaping along on my eGos. Now I've started entering VV/VW mods with a new eVic and a Vision ET atty. So far I am happy with this combo, but I suspect I'll be getting at least one mech mod soon. :D

In my country, vaping is more expensive than smoking analogs. A pack here usually costs less than $1. Add equipment and e-juice costs together and there is a huge difference in spending. I'm really just sticking with vaping to stay healthier, and not for savings.

Is this local made brands or US Tobacco brands? If it is US Tobacco brands we may have to talk about you shipping me a few cases for resale. :D That way I could support my vaping habit. Kidding.
