somewhere out there......
It does! My only 'complaint' is the button location..it's a bit tough for me to hit the button without the GG sliding around in my hand. (Told you they were small!) I'm finding that I have to put my thumb on the 'ledge' at the top of the GG, (where the cart attaches) so I can 'brace' for the push on the bottom. It just seems to slide around in my hand if I don't do that.

Other than that, it's beautiful!

try using your ring finger on the knuckle/joint right above where the ring would sit on your finger. Or use first knuckle on ring finger. I dont like using my pinky because I get the same problem with it moving around. For some reason I get more support when using my ring finger knuckle and it feels more natural.

I unscrewed my spring, stretched it a bit, screwed it back in and now my button takes a feather touch to activate. The battery is now very well seated on the black insulator so the button just has to be barely pressed and it hits the negative on the battery. If I press harder, the battery is pushed up along with the button and the spring compresses, but the spring is stretched a bit so it's a hard push to compress the spring.

You could also try holding the body of the Slim with your first two fingers (index and middle) and your thumb, and press the button into the "heel" of your palm.

That's exactly how I do it. :D

I don't own a Slim, and I thought the button would be awkward. Then I remembered I thought the same thing about the GGT, and that I was astonishingly wrong! Turns out, Imeo had put a lot more thought into it than I had. It is the most versatile and comfortable button that I have used. With this in mind, I played around with a retractable ink pen a couple of months ago, and voila! I figured it out! :D

The moral of this story is: If it's on a GG, imeo has given it a lot of thought, so don't dismiss it without giving it some thought of your own! :)

EDIT:
[...] I was astonishingly wrong! [...]

I didn't mean that it is astonishing that I was wrong, I meant that my degree of error was so large that it was astonishing. Also, "astonishing" may be the wrong word, but you get my drift. :D

I need to read my posts before I click the "post" button, or stop reading them afterwards. :)

I'm getting mixed results with my Slim.

Very weak vapor and cool atty as compared to a 14500 on my GGTS with the same atty. 10440 battery is fresh off the charger reading 4.17 volts with my meter. Cleaned and polished all contacts and 510 adapter on the Slim. Cleaned and polished the spring and the springs "adapter" under the front cap as well. Tried the battery with positive side up and down. Sanded the connections with emery cloth. Wiped connections again after sanding. Cleaned and polished the centre pole as good as I could.

Did I miss anything guys, or is this as good as it's going to get? Using juice with 35% VG and get clouds of vapor with same 510 atty on the GGTS at 3.7 volts. Tried an i3 atty and same results. The i3 works great on the GGTS with a 14500 but not so good on the Slim with a fresh battery. My 510 atty is reading 2.2 ohms.

I thought I had it all worked out a couple days ago, but I'm still not pleased with what I'm getting.

I'm stumped. :confused::confused::confused::confused::confused:

EDIT: Okay, I just put on a brand spankin' new 510 atty and performance is way better. I screwed it on really good onto the adapter. I'll post back here if performance drops again, but this now has great vapor and the heat is back to what it should be. If anything, this will be a good troubleshooting guide for your GG Slim if performance drops because I don't think I missed anything other than, just try a brand new atty and screw it on really good. My brand new 510 atty reads 2.2 ohms as well. They are all genuine Joye510's. Who knows what the difference is, but it works good now.

Sounds like a bad 10440 boomboom, i had exactly the same problems and it was the batteries, reading 4+ volts off the charger and nothing, try a different 10440 if you have any, hope it works out

Just had a massive vape session and took the fresh battery down to 3.68 volts and I can confirm everything is fine now. Lots of vapor and heat. I guess it must have been the combo of a new 510 atty and screwing it into the GG connector harder than I'm used to.

Just swapped out batteries for a fresh one again and everything is still good.

All is well now in vapeland!!!
