I don't like to post biographies, but: I am a 40 yr smoker. On a cruise over the holidays, I spoke to a woman who had an e cig (something I had never heard of). She said in just 2 weeks she had gotten rid of her smokers cough. I thought about her at the cigarette store when I came home. Aliog with my carton of Pall Mall reds, I bought a no name starter e-kit.

It worked instantly for me!!! But I knew that the cost of the thing, plus the time recharging batteries would make it all a pain. Then I found this site

I decided to try the 510 and decided to go with vermont vapors. My decision was based on the fact that I wanted US juice. The shipping was lightning fast. I knew that the batts on the 510 were a problem, but one of the two I got lasted 50 minutes, the other never lasted more than 15.

Linda at VV, said to send the 15 minute one back. I then discovered the long lasting 510 batts and ordered 2 from Totally wicked. While I waited for my shipment (which took about 5 days, about as fast as the USPS could get it here) the good batt from VV began getting only 30 minutes.

I was going to email Linda today, but my TW long lasting batts arrived and guess what, they last only about an hour.

So--I think I got one bad batt. but for the rest...I think I drag on the thing a lot, bure really--double average?

any ideas? I can't give you a lot of details because I have no frame of reference.

Thanks in advance

I'm wondering if you have a bum charger or are not letting them charge all the way. New 510 batts under heavy vaping should last 1 to 2 hours and the mega batts 2-4 hours. If they're working properly and you're not putting them down at all, you need more nicotine.

I don't have a 510 so not sure if they insert into the charger the same way my 901 does, but are you sure it's inserted the right way? On mine I have to gently push down while turning/screwing it in, like you would a child proof cap on a medicine bottle but gentler. Just thinking it doesn't sound like it's charging at all.

sounds to me your charger might be the culprit as well - I get about 6 hours from my 510 batts - tho I have to say I dont use it a lot - I use my PT all the time tho xD
When I *do* take the 510 out tho the batts last me at LEAST 2hours usually 4, with me actually using it I mean not just carrying it
Maybe get back in touch with your supplier (druggie reference NOT intended...) and see if you can get the charger switched over?
