I know its been said before, but I sooooo wish someone would develop one that lasts and we wouldn't have to keep buying them. (C'mon techies!) 1st one- dead, 2nd one- died after 3 days and replaced by Steve at PS. 3rd one- on life support with tape and glue, 4th one- on on order and should be here today. I LOVE using them, but hate the lack of dependability.

Mine has died and there is not a one to be had here in the US. 8-o

 please don't make me go back to batteries for my penstyle, I just don't think I could bear it. ;)

(For the record, I have seen that all you wonderful suppliers are in the process of restocking but I felt the need to whine.)

stop whining and install a push button.....:D

Dude!!! Such a great word!
I thought it surpassed gender... not that it should have, no excuse for not being polite, but I have used it when talking to friends that are female.

It can be used to agree with someone: Dude! :thumb:
As a warning: Du-ude... :grr:
As a recognition of misfortune and compassion: Dude
As a reminder of a really bad mistake: Dude...
As a celebration: DUDE!!!
As a "heads up... hot chick alert": (dude) :hubba:
As a question of location or meaning: Dude??

There are almost as many uses for it as we have smileys. So versatile.
Definitely one of my favorites!

ROFL, so very sorry about that... I live near Portland and one learns not to leap to conclusions on things like an avatar. As an act of attrition, I shall now pound my head against the floor until forgiven.
Robert
(ow ow ow ow ow ow ow ow)

Robert: LOL...well, I can understand not leaping to conclusions and you are forgiven. Now go get put some ice on your head and stay alert in case of concussion. :p

Rejoice: I do have a spare except that it's older and I'm afraid it's gonna die on me soon as well. Guess I need to stock up on these now instead of batteries.

Parapo...are you suggesting the SD? It's on my wishlist. If you're suggesting the Janty, been there done that and got fed up with it.

Thanks for the links Robw and tribalmasters. Ain't it the truth, Lu. And I agree, nitewriter, better wire, boot at the connection to the pseudobattery, anything.

And to Cage: There was an old .wav file out on the Web that used to circulate about a completely different word and it's versatility of use as well, but it wasn't near as nice as "Dude".

Cheers all!

Had two go bad, switch and/or wire problems so I made a heavy duty model. One tire valve with all the rubber cut off (threads are correct for 901), 2" model airplane fuel line inserted in the valve, 2 1/4" copper rod inserted in the fuel line for the positive contact, soldered heavy duty push switch to the valve, soldered heavy duty USB cable to positive and negative. Negative is the casing with the threads and switch. Wrapped it all with electric tape and wow I know have Screwdriver USB.
