Woo hoo! Glad to see my Alma mater came out with a good study. There are a lot of vapers in the Oklahoma City metroplex. I'm starting to see a lot of folks vaping in public. Now, if we can just get our State senators and representatives to get out of Big tobacco's pocket!

This is great! Now if the national news channels would pick up this story, it would be a big help to our cause.

J.R.

That would be awesome if they did. However, I just don't see that happening unless they can spin it in a sensational way that would make their viewers tune in. They do have to keep selling advertising, after all.

...

EDIT I can't read. I didn't see a link for the study either.

LOL... I thought that maybe it was just me.

---

Whenever I hear of a Study, I like to read the Unabridged text. Mainly to see How Much and How the Data was Collected. How the Study was performed. And some of the Statistical variables like the P-Value.

It looks like you need a membership (or access to one through a library). I did a search on "electronic cigarettes" at my university and there were over 600 results, but that included news articles too. However, there were over 90 articles on the subject in this journal alone. I've attached the article in question here!

Thank you Dave.

I was hoping it would be a New Study verses an Opinion Article based on other works. Whereas it is by No Means a Definitive answer to many questions about e-Cigarettes, the tone of the Article was Fair and Even Handed. And portrays e-Cigarettes as a whole as having Good Potential as a HRT

Thanks, Vocalek and Bill Godshall for the links to the studies. I have these bookmarked and mentally noted. We must remain ever vigilant and civilly defiant to the nanny state, FDA, et al. to prevent them from taking unnecessary measures that directly or indirectly impact vaping freedom in a negative fashion.

I like that they ask, that a balanced and unbiased approach be taken, when reporting on the studies being done, as stated in the one article. Good mention that they called out the FDA on spinning the facts of their research from 2009. I really think the cats out of the bag. I don't know if the FDA could continue with their B.S. Too many credible people are calling them out on this. The hard work from everyone on our side seems to be paying off. Gotta keep pushing "them" back!

I had a little more time today, so I went back and searched for new journal articles again. Here are some recent articles, though they may be represented elsewhere as well.
