Old cartomizers work with my passthrough but not with my batteries

I use a kr808d-1 Bloog Maxxfusion battery, the prefilled carts that came with it lasted through roughly 2-3 refills before they started tasting burnt/started feeling like I was sucking on a stick... SO my friend referred me to Electronic Cigarette Supplies & Electronic Cigarette Refills for Name-Brand Electronic Cigarettes! E-Cigs from LiteCigUSA to purchase cartos. They also seemed to have the same problem but with less flavor and vapor consistently. Besides the fact that I am having trouble refilling cartomizers multiple times, they seem to work fine with my usb passthrough with several refills. I can just give these things hell and the passthrough still keeps them alive. I was just wondering if this is common? I recently ordered 808 turbo carts from vapornine, I've read several reviews about noticed they hold more juice and last longer (take more refillls) They havent came in yet but im hoping they fix the problem. I was just curious about this because I have read several forum posts of people refilling cartos several times before disposing of them and I have not had the same results at all.
Also I have read about/tried numerous cleaning methods and after cleaning and leaving cartos to dry I still have the same result which consists of me feeling like im sucking on a stick (decent throat hit but no vapor production and its draining my batteries) If someone could please fill me in with any information I would appreciate it. Also I am not overfilling my carts I fill them from the mouth side untill everything is saturated and then let them dry for 5-10 minutes there is no pooling or spillage from the battery side. I've been narrowed down to just using my passthrough at home and pretty much hoping my carts last me through the day at work. The first 1-3 fills are great good crackel awesome vapor and th but around the 4-5 refil its literally like sucking on a stick (nothing) somebody please help me.
I got my usb passthrough via www.litecigusa.net works great with the kr808d-1 carts I got from them also. I just dont understand why a cartomizer that is pretty much unuseable on my Bloog battery works like a brand new one on my passthrough. The flavor isnt nearly as rich on my pt but I mean I can refill the hell out of these things using only my pt, but its just worthless on my batt. HELP!:(

Sounds to me like a power issue.

With batteries, when they're fully charged, its the max power they're going to put out. A few puffs, less power....yadda yadda.

And this is all I guess theoretical on my part as its not based on experience.

So after the power is reduced, the juice isn't burning off like you'd like it to, a.k.a. its not "burning clean." Therefor leaving the bad flavoring and the need for disposal/replacement of your cartomizer.

On the other side, when using a PT, the power is constant - its at max and so the "burn" is constant and at a max rate. Therefor, no residue, cleaner cartos and less need for replacement.

I believe it..do you?

What exact cartos did you buy

Litecig has standard resistance, and LR which you should not use on a slim battery, and may hae vHV which a battery might not have enough power to drive. I use the Premium KR808D-1 standard resistance cartos from LiteCigUSA.net on Vapor4Life. I get good reuse out of them.

Some PTs are 5 volts and that is a lot more than a battery. And if not, then they are a solid 3.7 volts that does not drop off.

And there are different kinds of cartos. If you got the kind with an inner donut-shaped seal over a fat slab of stuffing with no defined center air channel, I think those suck. The 510 ones by SLB are like that. Work well once. I like Boge cartos - no inner seal, defined center air channel.

I ordered premiums from litecigusa.net im not sure what brand they are.. maybe I got some duds? Im still waiting on my turbos to come in from vapornine.com has anyone tried these? they have pretty good reviews and should hold a little more juice. Should I let my carts dry a little bit after filling? or are they good to go after the polyfill is saturated? I guess maybe im spoiled by the first few really good vapes but it seems after around 5 refills i get TH and little to no vapor and it requires alot of primer puffs. Is 5 a pretty good ammount or refills, I have read alot of forums where people are saying they get 10-15 refills? am I doing something wrong? or did I just get bad cartos? I put the analogs down March 24th and havent had one since, am I just having a hard time adjusting? Any ideas? Thanks guys

badnews,

I have used prefilled 100% VG and was quite disappointed. I went to VG simply because of the "stigma" behind PG, but now having an education that there is no harmful effects to it (PG) and I will never go all VG again.

The VG dulls the flavor given off...it honestly felt like I was just vaping on air. LOTS of vapor produced, but no feel either. The PG will hold flavors better, and give that bit of Throat Hit that most smokers desire (or even need to feel like they are actually getting something out of it).

I know without the TH I would continue to hit my PV (and continue and continue...). This was probably giving me more Nicotine in a sitting than I actually desired. You'll find the right blend that you'll enjoy. The reason it is blended is to give more vapor, make it somewhat smoother, and honestly, I think just to thicken the juice a bit more to avoid dripping.

I'm not an expert, but that's just what I see...I'm sure in Juice threads you can get a better answer if you're looking for one.
