Good Friday Morning all!!!! and yes it is the annual April Fools Day! I would say given so many opinions and observations being posted lately that we agree to disagree. As responsible adults all with our many varied prefered vaping devices and the many different options for batteries, atomizers etc. we DO agree that vaping is our salvation from cigarettes.Bottom line there will always be disagreement on what is best, safest ,gives the best vape etc. I would respectfully request that these differences of opinion if one feels strongly be communicated via PM's. Let us all do our part to keep our forums free of comments that would better be comunicated via PM.As for opinions on specific mods, suppliers etc.our moderater Geoduck has already pointed out that there are reveiw threads for this purpose and that is where posts of that nature should be placed. On that note I hope everyone has an enjoyable weekend and I hope everyone survives April Fools Day....Now as for myself I am going to finish my cup of coffee and try to find out why my son has a suspicious look and muffles a giggle each time I take a sip of my hmmmm faintly SALTY! coffee.........sigh;.....gramakittycat (the boy will pay!)

Thank you gramakittycat...I will no longer address any issue about batteries on this forum...our company policy is what it is and it will not be changing in the near future.

Thank you Old Goat Mods

DO NOT USE THEM in your mod. You will void your warranty. Protected batteries are the only ones Ron approves for use in his mods.
The best you can get would be AW Protected 14500 AA ( 750 mAH ) They will outperform the others I assure you.

So these, right?

I've got my Cisco LR 306 up on this beast and it hits like a...well...a beast :p

Oh, and here are the batteries I use with no issues.

ice

I bet it does hit hard. I've not done a LR306, tho I keep saying I'd like to try them. My carto's just work well for me, so I've not changed, and I never did drip much at all. I just like the fact that I can have the mod loaded with a full bottle, an extra full bottle and battery in a case, and I can go all day and then some without a care in the world. For $40-50, it's hard to beat. My 3.7v bottomfeeder does everything I want it to do and I like the lanyard. It stays around my neck all day and I stick my mod in my shirt pocket if I don't want it swinging around.
It's all good.:vapor:

I use the 306 LR atomizer and I love it...reminds me of vaping 5 volt with the vape it produces with out any burnt taste, you need to try one out Roscoe.

Well...now you've gone and done it. OK...next time I get an order together, I'll get one and give it a vape. But I just got my recent order, so it will be awhile before I order again.

I'm going to have to get at least one. I've always heard good things about them and Cisco. Where do you get yours from?

Rosco,

Perhaps people will pipe in on their favorite ones, but I thought Id share my stash of info on them in case it helps:

IKENVAPE 2.0 ohm
IKV LR 306 2.0

OR

AvidVaper 1.5 ohm (CISCO)
Cisco LR306 1.5 ohm Atomizer + Drip Tip Special - Avid Vaper

OR

Joye's 1.5 - 1.7 ohm
Low Resistance 306 Joye Tech Atomizer

There are also generic 306 LRs which are usually about a dollar less ea.

Users report Cisco's 306s burn slightly hotter than the Joye's, they seem to be more prone to burnt taste. To combat that you should demesh or dewick YouTube - quick tip on the Cisco 306 (kinda seems a PITA to me but definitely increases usability as it makes it easier to drip course you are using as bottom feeder so YMMV)

IKENVAPE provides good high quality stuff but often out of stock.

Joye users report very good lifespan compared to their cisco experience.

For drip tips:
the CherryVape created cannon is longer to get your mouth further away from atty but only in black or transparent as far as Ive found: Cannon | Drip Tips | E- | Cigs | Cigarettes | Cisco 306 | Cherry Vape

Vapor flow also has an XL in black derlin 306 XL (Extra Long) Contoured Delrin Drip Tip - VaporFlow, Inc. and Heaven Gifts 1x black delrin drip tips for Joye306 e-cigarette - E-cigarette drip tips Heaven Gifts
For size comparison:

and theecig has pyrex ones which are also comparable in length to the cannon in clear and cobalt TheEcig.com is proud to announce the FIRST EVER PYREX DRIP TIP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!They have been hand blown by are partners at Garduno Glass!!! The most comfortable drip tip out there on the market!! The liquid drips easier and the airflow is phenome

nhaler makes some very cool Colored and Twisted 306 Drip Tips

Because the 306 is tapered, the drip tips usually don't always slide all the way down or they will get stuck.

If you already have a standard 510 drip tip, there is also a 306 to 501 drip tip adapter: * 306 to 510 Drip Tip Adapter Black Delrin [306 to 510 Drip Tip Adapter] - $4.00 | Best Electric Cigarette | Electronic Cigarette

Hope that helps cut down on some of your research time.

Thanks for the info Bigtime...I am a big fan of IKENVAPE's fusion and GoldV2's.

I also have two of the pyrex drip tips. Problem with them is that since each is hand made, each is different and my first two would not even fit properly and the second set still don't fit the best. On 1 of them, there just is not enough length beneath the o-ring to go "into" the atty/carto.
For $15 each, they sure should be dang near perfect. But my cheap Delrin tips fits perfect for a couple bucks.

He sells Bauway 306's and he says his pyrex 306 tips are supposed to be a guaranteed fit or some such. I'd guess his glass blower uses them as a mold, but if you watch the video of the woman on that page I think it looked like the joye fit it better. Those 306's with their taper are just hard to get a good fit. I know the more plasticy ones shape better after being used for a while and heated up.

Pixie

I  your Old Goat Mod with the transparent cannon and that paint job.

Thanks Ron for your response and great customer service. I am looking forward to getting my second 3.7v bottom feeder from you. This time I ordered an unpainted one with blue LED and lanyard to match. I just love the looks of the lights glowing through the body of the white box in the pics I've seen on here :). I am as excited to get this one as I was my first a few weeks ago!!My first one came pretty fast so maybe it will come even faster since it isn't being painted. Gotta have a backup and this mod is small enough and light enough to carry anywhere whether in my pocket, on my lanyard, or in my purse. Then I won't have to carry a whole different mod and all the stuff for it. Just need to make a tiny bag to hang on my keychain for the extra bottle of juice and a battery or two.

Has anyone gotten the unpainted one and blinged it out themselves? If so, how did you do it? Pics please. I've used nailart to pretty up my 510's and Riva's.
