My 2nd order from bestecig in China came today. I wrongly assumed I would be getting the good 901 attys since I got them from there before. No, I am stuck with the crummy new style leaky crappy tasting too hot attys. So, are they even making the old style attys anymore? If so, who sells them. I cant stand how juice tastes with these new ones. Probly give up vaping altogether if I cant get the old attys anymore. I thought bestecig manufactured their own but the ones I got today look just like the ones I got in the US months ago. And they are lame. I can keep the old kind going for months with less vapor production but they still function. these new kind die in days.

I get my regular 901 attys here Dse-901 Atomizer's . They're only $5.00 right now . They're genuine SLB high bridge (I guess that's what you mean by "old style") attys. I've never had a problem with them. Not even much primer to burn off.
Hey, I just noticed that we're both in Michigan and have our dogs for avatars. Funny.

Thanks for your help, I clicked on the link but see no $5 attys and its saying they have "brand new" 901 attys in stock now, can we know if they are the crummy ones? I think the bad ones are called BE and the good ones SLB. I asked the experts about the correct names but so far my post is not showing there. Yes thats funny we both live in MI with dog avatars lol but I dont know where Brooklyn is, not NY I think lol.

Wow, the price went up since this morning. Those are SLBs though. That's where I've gotten them and they have always been SLB high bridge attys. I swear they were $5.00 when I posted the link.
Brooklyn is in the Irish Hills area. About 60 miles west of Detroit and 20 miles south of Jackson. I'm out here in the woods man.

Maybe the company saw the post and raised the price? Nah thatd be downright creepy lol. I live in the woods pretty much too, not far from me there is a 750 acre forest fire burning. Crawford Cty evacuated 100 people. Last night I could smell the smoke. I think I ordered from the place in your link months ago I might try them again once I figure out what to do with these 5 attys I hate. $16 shipping is what upsets me the most about all this.

I really do wonder if maybe there are a couple of different redesigned 901 atties (by diff manufacturers... or even not) out there or something. It doesn't seem to make sense that some ppl like and prefer the 'new'/'washer' ones and others hate them -- well, of course many many things in vaping are subjective, but I mean for instance, the leaking and dying young things -- it seems like those kinds of aspects, especially the former, would be consistent across all users. But as seen on the other thread in the 901 subforum, some ppl really do prefer or not mind the washer/new ones. Complicated complicated!!

I've been vaping for almost a year so I'm still in my stashed slb 901's from early last year - late summer.
All the new washer atty's are marked slb and same markings as the original's so I assume same company, just a redesign.
Maybe I just got used to the old one's.
It may be just people that like the new one's really haven't been able to compare to the old one's.
May come down to just personal preference.. one of those things.

That's the one thing I do feel lucky about, that I have no point of reference on these golden oldies! As I mentioned on the other thread, it was just two days ago that I 'made myself' start regularly using the new ones I got either, so we'll see. Ok atm but Princessdee said it does take her new ones five or so days to start leaking. If by chance that doesn't start happening with mine too in a few days I'll be even more confused, but very thankful of course!! (Edit to add: Like some other peoples' who've received the new style, mine do say 'SLB.')

I would take a pic of the inside of these ones I got from HC in late March, but only have access to a crummy flash-less cell phone cam and it doesn't capture detail well at all. Somehow even the pics on the other thread haven't answered for me conclusively which ones I ended up with (old style or new). But if I do find out somehow that they're the ones y'all like, I'll be sure to let you know! Altho, I suppose things could have changed by now or will, *sigh.*

Mad Vapes was also where I first came in contact with these new style attys, which cannot be resurected with the Jaaxx method once they start to go bad. I cant believe how much harder I have to draw on the new attys, and I think people who never tried the old style just dont know about the differences, as someone mentioned earliier. My new style from China have no markings at all on them.

Damn, I saw that on the news. You somewhere near Grayling? I used to spend summers on Lake Margarethe when I was a kid. My wife and I honeymooned there. We were pretty poor when we got married and my uncle gave us the cottage for a week as a wedding present.

I missed your post earlier, I live about 10 miles southeast of that lake and the fire was pretty far east of it too. I just drove past Lake Margarethe last week on my way to a doc appt in Traverse City. I like Grayling, not too huge but still has what you need and close to all the best places for fishing and hunting.

Awhile back there was a thread about the 2 different kinds of old style 901 attys, meaning at that time the SLB and rn4075s. Oddly, I cannot C/P that link but the title is

New style 901 atty? in the Model Specific DSE901/b"mini" section, thread started 11-30-09 by BanjoMan.

Here's a few place's, quite a few carry them.. They have a lower bridge than the slb 901's but other wise almost the same as the older dse slb 901's.Same thread type so batt's and everything are compatible.
myPVshop Electronic Cigarettes - The RN4075 Electronic Cigarette
Gloss white RN4075 Mini e-Cigarette atomizer
PureSmoker.com - Home of the USA Built PV !!!

Thanx, I have seen those at Vapor kings. I just never realized that they were compatible with the 901.
I'm thinking of trying some kr808d-1 cartos with my 901 mods. Know anything about those? Anybody?....Buller?

Haven't been up that way in a while, however, my nephew is getting married in Gaylord on July 3rd so I'm going up for that. We visit the upper east side of the lower peninsula pretty often now. Wifes family has a place on Hubbard Lake. Know it?

I received today a box of KR808 cartos in a trade. These are my first cartos ever.
I use a 6V box mod and 36mg juice.

These are 16mg and I'm very much enjoying them. Flavorful and best of all HOT vapor. Warmer than my 901 atty. I can't get the TH I'm used to cause of the nic difference, but the warmth of the vapor is very nice.

I cannot speak to any other kind but these. The box says they came from analog alternative.

Nice! Dunno how long they will last and if they die young it would be a pricey way to go, but for now, it's good. (And I can chain vape with the much lower nic level :vapor:)
