OMeGa loose switch/ cap

I'm not sure if it's normal or not, but is the top cap/ switch supposed to wiggle? I haven't taken in off but I tried to tighten it, though it seems it's tight. The top cap just has wiggle room up down left and right as well as depressing the button down. Is this normal?

I think its normal, mine does the same thing. I don't see a problem with it.

Mine doesn't wiggle. I can feel it give just the tiniest bit if I push it left or right, but I couldn't qualify that as a wiggle. The movement is not really visible.

I will say that the first day or so I percieved a little more of a wiggle, but I think that was just getting used to the fact that the top moves at all. I'm not trying to say that is what is going on with yours, just offering some feedback.

I looked again (closer this time with the OMeGa standing up straight on my desk) after my post and realized that the movement is definitely visible, but it is minimal and looks normal IMO.

The "wiggle" is required to operate smoothly. If it were to tight it would not operate properly. I allowed for .0005-.001 clearance
