That's about all I can say about my new tumbled aluminum grand that arrived in the mail yesterday. This mod is the cat's meow! I got home from work, unwrapped it from the box, slapped on a 1.7 ohm super shorty carto, filled the bottle with 18mg Boba's Bounty, and haven't put it down since! Wasn't sure what to expect, as I'm coming from 2 months of using a lavatube. Wasn't sure if the Grand could make Boba's warm enough for me liking. Sure enough, it was plenty good. I'm in love with this mod, and my poor lavatube isn't going to be getting much love. I would like to pose a questions to you wonderful reonauts. How do you go about changing flavors if you own only one Grand? And before you all say it, buying another grand is not an option, at least right mow. Boba's Bounty us my all day vape, and I like to switch to some Aroma ejuice P-38 menthol when I need that icy fix. I know I could just swap out the bottle, but then I'm going to taint my Boba's with menthol. Any ideas or suggestions? Either way, glad I could finally join you all in Reoville. Just wish it could have been sooner! Vape on peeps! ImageUploadedByTapatalk1340559862.584031.jpg

Welcome Volta399 :)
Switching flavors can be a bit tedious if you're swapping bottles and flushing the system to handle a short lived craving. If your flavors don't mix well together, my suggestion is to perhaps use a carto with your 2nd flavor....and then while vaping that, don't squeeze the bottle.

I must agree with Lisa. BB would not mix well with P-38, and the Menthol is pretty strong in it. If you do not want to taint your BB with minty, maybe even just use the P-38 with your Lava Tube. The Bottle is not part that absorbs "flavoring". You must also look to the connection/well and the gasket inside it. If you do decide to use your Reo, I would suggest cold water flushes as the hot water heats up the rubber and plastic and opens it's "pores" trapping flavoring inside.

I just take out the bottle (and cap it), take off the carto or atty, clean the well up with a couple cotton swabs and some cheap vodka, then take a paper towel and place the tube that goes into the REO body in the paper towel and blow out the juice thru the top of the REo. Insert new bottle and carto/atty and vape away.... takes me about 3 min between flavors to switch out.

I frequently switch between BWB Blueberry, BWB Apple, and Halo's Malibu Menthol...and never have cross contamination.

NICE REO btw!!!! I havent used my buzzpro but a couple of times in the 2 months since I have had my REO.

I know you didn't want to hear this, but buy a Reo Mini from the classies- they're on there pretty cheap these days and dedicate it to your menthol flavor. Menthol is difficult to get out of the tube even if you switch bottles, so if this is not an option, the the carto, like Lisa suggested is about the only way for now. You could try keeping a 6ml dedicated bottle of your menthol juice on hand and flushing the tube each time as well as switching a dedicated atty but I'm afraid you're not going to really be satisfied with this setup.

You could throw on a carto from time to time with a different juice. I never use cartos except to try/use a new juice...just a thought. Btw congrats on your new REO. I use to post in the new member forum and suggest REOs to newbies and usually get a hard time from others but when I see someone kinda of new to vaping making the leap over the usual starter kits Im impressed. Coming from someone like you with a low post count would be more believeable and less seen as just a fanboy. :)

congratz and welcome! yeh, i would too use the lavatube for the menthol or i would go for the menthol-carto. switching flavors in a reo is easy done like mentioned above, but i find with menthol it lingers a bit longer then other flavors do, so for a quick fix every now and then i would go for one of the other options.

I would use the Lava for the menthol. Or maybe you could buy another tube set so you can change the whole feeding tube? IDK maybe that would work.

Changing out the feed tube isn't something you want to do every time you have a whim for a different flavor. I'd say put the Lavatube to work with your second-favorite juice, and use the Grand for your all-day.

Welcome aboard, REOnaut!
