Ok I am on almost week 6 without a smoke and I am totally committed this time and using nic juice has so far saved the day (I tried with zero nic last year but failed) Anyway i have been a heavy smoker for a long time! I started smoking at 15 now 51:ohmy: I found a few flavours I liked or could tolerate as a substitute to real tobacco and they were great, one is a middle eastern blend the other Winston both 18 mg and I have enjoyed them so far "But" for some reason my taste has changed overnight dramatically? Its like in one foul swoop.

My Winston tastes like a Cream Soda air fresher and my middle eastern blend tastes like toffee?

I need some help as I dont want to dislike vaping so much as to reach for a ciggy.

I just cant believe it, the Winston starts off sort of chocolate then a bit nutty then creme soda?it makes me quite sick. M/E blend is just pure toffee! yesterday they both tasted sort of like tobacco?

Any help appreciated and I feel I may need some to stay off the analouges.

Cheers

Den

ps its not just the taste of the juice i don't like but every time I eat i get an after taste that lingers and i dont like it!

I think you're experiencing the changing taste buds that occur after being off cigarettes for a while. There really is no need to go back to having a cigarette. Cigs will taste far worse than your juices do at the moment. What I suggest you do is buy a bunch of different juices in small 5-10ml bottles to try out. Give your taste buds a treat. Get varied flavors - some fruit, some plain, some sweet.

Drink lots of water. Also your taste buds will probably return to normal after a while too.

In my experience once a juice has "turned" on me (used to love it and hate it overnight) there is no going back to it EVER. Of course your experience may be different, but that's how it happens to me. As a matter of fact, I had a few dessert flavors do this, and I can no longer stand any dessert flavors.

You may be able to find another tobacco that you like, or it may be time to move on to other flavors. I would highly recommend trying some plain unflavored to get you through the hump. Also, try some menthol (just menthol, no tobacco). Many non menthol smokers, myself included, find that we love menthol juice. But I definitely agree that it is time to branch out from the tobaccos.

Lots of water, and try unflavored ( perhaps with just a little menthol or something ). I've been on unflavored from the getgo, never wanted to taste/smell vape while I'm eating/drinking or wanting to smell good things I've been missing thru the years.

Springtime smelled soooo great, and food/drink tastes sooo good now.
