Me too...can't wait for the bugs to be worked out on the new site so I can feel confident in placing an order without major issues.
I'm with you. I've been going back and forth for weeks trying to decide where to order, I was settled on Bloog but they haven't had product that I want in stock so far, I almost bought somewhere else but then decided to wait for the new site to come online, now I'm waiting for purple batteries and empty cartos and still waffling, etc etc, but I found out yesterday that my company is requiring me to sign a form by October 1st that I have been smoke-free 90 days or they bump me to the most insane deductible-and-copay plan you've ever seen. So that forces my hand and makes my official quit-smoking-forever date at July 1st. Bloog, you will be seeing a hefty order for me and my husband very soon, and frankly, I'm glad. I feel like between having my hand forced by my insurance company and seeing how nice all the people in this subforum are, that I'm just really looking forward to switching to Blooging and that this is the first year of the rest of my life. Sounds corny but most of you know how the 25 year smoker fear is, and how exciting it is to see a possible way out. Just get those blank cartos back in stock so we can go crazy!

ps I wish Bloog sold a couple's starter kit, I almost ordered the insanely overpriced Green Smoke kit just because the simplicity of the love birds kit was just sooo attractive to a total noob

Go for it.
I was a 25year smoker, and frankly, it wasn't that hard to switch.
I was very surprised, after tying a lot of things over the years.

see what I mean? instant, supportive replies. I hope the people who run Bloog know that it is this community that sealed the deal for me, this would have been soooooo overwhelming even with just my spouse and friends' support. thanks to all of you, I look forward to going on this journey with you!

it might also be worth noting that my documentation about the insurance thing specifically states that nicotine replacement users, including ecigarettes, will be considered tobacco-free. I think it's great that I don't have to go to war with Blue Cross over that, I would most assuredly lose. I wondered if anyone thought CASAA would be interested in that tidbit? It seems like somewhat of a victory to me.

Samuraijill, just my opinion but if analog feel is what you need I would suggest the 65mm minis or the standard 78mm. I first purchased the minis but they have a shorter battery life so I bought the 102 for longer battery life. Which is fine for at home but I don't feel comfortable using them outside of my home they are alot longer. I do prefer the minis but I am going to purchase the 78mm to see how I like them. The 102mm do have better battery life but they are heavier and to me you have to draw harder on them. I use 4 mini batteries to get me through the day.

The kits are over priced, piece it out. Get 5 batteries, two or three chargers and sample packs in various nic levels.

I have found this is the way to do it.

1) Get good equipment (bloog is a great place to start and finish in my opinion).
2) a flavor/flavors you love
3) the right nic level

Good luck

Hardest part of vaping is finding a juice flavor you like and the nic level is crucial. I smoked 1 1/2 pack per day and I get by with 16mg nic but I have days that I need 24 mg. I smoked light menthol cigarettes. Also if your a menthol smoker I can try to help you find your perfect menthol juice. But I wouln't commit to big bottle purchases because even after a week or two your tastebuds will be changing and what you like one day you won't the next. I would try the Bloog juice sample packs you never know what you will like. I like the Bloog menthol and I'm so glad we will be getting juice soon.

it does matter a little, mostly because im kind of short and would feel ridiculous with a very long stick in my very small hands. I'm around a power source and a computer all day long so battery life may not be a huge issue for me. As Dee Lee pointed out I think it makes a lot more sense to piece together a kit for us - my husband is in a kitchen all night and needs a battery that he can stick in his pocket for several hours, so he will have different needs than I.

I actually wondered if anyone could give me an idea of the weight of an assembled bloog? the reason I ask is that i usually have a pen tucked behind my ear and I was wondering if it was pen-tuckable. Otherwise, I suppose it will be in my bra with my loose change and whatever other small items I seem to get handed constantly.

how many cigarettes do you smoke per day?
plus or minus a pack a day for both of us. I buy marlboro mediums, he buys the gold 72s when he goes, so we go back and forth.

i'm definitely planning on ordering a large amount of samplers in varying nicotine levels from a couple of different vendors, I understand from my reading here that finding that "right vape" is the key to success and the hardest hurdle to get over....

The mini PCC's some people swear by. I do not use them. They are maybe a tad bit heavier then a pen, but the small ones are lighter then the longer ones.

Your best bet would be getting a couple of each size, this way you can try them all out. While I like the weight of the minis, the battery life sucks.

If you think of the batts like this, it may give you a better idea

65mm is like a king size
78mm is like a 100's
102mm is like 120's

Although they are slightly heavier then their analog counter part.

Welcome, Samuraijill!
I was a 25 year smoker also....until March 25th when my Bloog arrived. You have made a great choice! Sadly, such a great choice that they sell out of stuff. :)

I really recommend some 24mg cartos. Everyone is different, but if you are trying to quit, it's much better to have the higher strength and not need them than vice versa

I'd definitly get the tabacco sampler cartos. And others can comment on the tabacco flavors since I was a menthol smoker I couldn't advise you on those flavors. But I hear the 555 is GREAT!! :p
