Ok...here's the link:

Statobahn on MySpace Music - Free Streaming MP3s, Pictures & Music Downloads

Some of his stuff is a little rough around the edges, but I think it shows promise. My ranking of the songs on his page are:

A Better Day
Feet of Clay
Crustacean
Elegy (note - the intro part of this song is REALLY rough, but get through it, and it's much better)
Beautiful Ruin

If anyone can get through Machine..I'll applaud them. The Bounce is not one of my favorites, either, but I can at least get through it.

Lemme know what ya'll think...

Vicks, I went and checked out the songs you listed. I liked the guitar part on feet of clay. I don't want to make you mad or anything but I honestly did not care much for the vocals. Maybe it's just not my kind of music. I play some guitar and enjoyed most of the guitar playing. It could be that the audio quality didn't seem that great on the streaming either.

No worries, I'm not mad. It's fairly common - one of his first comments back to me was 'I'm not used to people telling me I've got a good voice." He struggles with it, and its evident in his recordings.

When he sticks to his range, and when he really gets INTO the message of the music, his vocals are good - that's why I liked A Better Day as much as I did - that was the best of the bunch because you could FEEL the message in the music, and the story in the words themselves was arranged well.
