Once Again Unto The Breach

Hola :D So after a hiatus (from all forms of smoking) life has been steadily kicking me in the gentleman's region the past year (don't ask), I have found myself smoking again. I want to try E-Cigs again, especially now that they are so prevalent, and I don't have to wait to get new e-liquid (dear lord even my small town has 5 shops now...).

So I am back looking for a suggestion on what to try next. I originally got the Volcano Inferno(T), which for me proved no matter how loved a companies customer service is, one person always ends up getting a bad experience, and then tried the Magma kit (cause I am a glutton for punishment... holy crap i've used a lot of parentheses...). That was bunk from the getgo, and also lead to the worst customer service phone call of my life. Honestly probably got a guy on a bad day, but twice in a row turned me off of them.

I can say I still want something smaller than the big stuff I see most people with these days. I don't really need cig-a-like, but something that isn't big enough to be used as a defense weapon would rock.

I had seen not too long ago an awesome smaller battery kit for like $30 that came with a PCC, but for the life of me can't remember who made it. So a good PCC and decently sized e-cig would be amazing. Oh a cheap, ramen and I are having to have our love affair again...

EDIT: Oh yea, I prefer automatic batteries myself.

Hi and welcome back!

Are you set on a tube-shaped device or would you consider one that is box-shaped? What are/were your vaping habits? Do you work somewhere that you have a short vape break or have to stealth vape, or can you vape whenever you want? I'm asking because lifestyle can be a factor. A nurse is going to have different needs than a truck driver, you follow me?

Hey there Paper!

welcome back to the land of the the non smokers!! :)

on the cheap? cruise the "used" section on craigslist and/or ebay, you can get some good little rig ups for pennies on the retail dollar.

I just got a slightly used (they used it twice) Innokin VV and Kanger V2 for on the go for $23 delivered to my mailbox I have in iStick coming so we'll see if I like it better for on the go. (if it were you only one I'd think you'd need two batteries one to use while the other charges) at home I use the Innokin MVP 2.0 but I suppose it could hurt if you were to hit someone upside the head with it.:p

A bit too complex for what I'm after. Thanks for the advice but not what I'm after.

Hi

Ok, not so sure about that ramen thing - lol - but if it was still something in the market with a PCC you may be thinking of the Joyetech eRoll setup. Pretty sure that's an auto battery system. => Joyetech eRoll *Mini*

This is a thread about the updated eRoll C coming out. => http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/joyetech-eroll-mini/593290-eroll-c-coming.html

For some reason never wanted a JoyeTech, I have no logical explanation for why... But yeah, the eRoll is a bit too expensive for what I'm after, and it reminds me too much of the Inferno(T) I had that loved to dump whole tanks onto me... But thanks for the advice :D

I stealth vape a lot back when I do, I can take breaks but its easier to do it at the desk. Box shaped isn't really my style, but I admit I've kinda thought about it for the battery life and getting a nice big tank to last me all day. But again price is usually a factor.

I don't tend to like buying used things all that much, again no logically reason why. Also I was looking cheap so I could also stock up on e-liquid which I would hope to do at the same time. But again., thanks for the advice :)

Ok and on a side note, I find the one I had been looking at like a month ago, its the Volt. Its the right price, and come with a PCC for $30. So my question is how is said device? I am still open for other suggestions. And to give a more firm answer on price, I am looking for around $60-70 total with some e-liquid and extra carts. I don't know for sure if I'll stick with it like in the past, so I don't want to do like I used to when I'd drop a $100+ each time I got back into it :D

This is an interesting mod, I know some people who have ordered them, but not gotten them yet. It was featured on a Vape show I watched tonight and they were debating if it was better than an MVP for a new vaper. Well, you're not exactly a new vaper and this thing is made for stealth vaping. The preferred set-up is the battery with a mini Nautilus. While it has a smaller battery than an MVP one of the hosts said it seemed to last longer. They were all raving about the battery life.

Yes it is on eBay, but it is one of Joe's sponsors and they tend to be reliable. It is a pre-order though.

Just remember, if you get something cheap that doesn't work well, you've wasted a lot more money than if you had bought something expensive that does work well (that keeps you from going back to smoking).

Cheap is only cheap if it gets the job done.

The Eleaf Istick seems to fit your criteria. It's not an automatic though. The type of topper you use will determine the leakage problem you described.

Here is a video review of the Istick made by a ECF member. It's kinda long but very thorough. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3A2lLJtZjjs

Sounds awesome actually, except for the part of it being sold out everywhere xD

Nvm on that last post, ended up ordering it off evilBay xD got it and 2 Aspire K1's as that's what the review dude said to go for.

Now... Any suggestions on a good e liquid purveyor? I need a good Mint, and if someone has a cola or orange creamsicle flavor I would be in heaven :D
